I just remembered seeing someone trying it out (And yes... since you asked, I've been part of this thread since the start and read every post at some point a few months ago when it started... which is why I was trying to be helpful to let you know that it might be in here if you hadn't already looked.), and didn't have time to find it for you. Sorry if you misinterpreted my tone. My suggestion would be if you can find the person who did try it that you PM them to get more info.

IIRC, there are a handful of guys running these on the OBXT.

Looks like you swapped to top feeds... just curious - did you use top feed TGV deletes, or go with a conversion kit like ID sells? I helped a friend do the TGV swap to go top feed, and that came out really clean, but the ID conversion seems a lot easier.

Curious what made you decide to go with the 10 cm^3 hot side over the 8 cm^3?

I had to clock my GFB TMS respons so that my record line would reach, but no clearance issues.

I wasn't dyno tuned, I was etuned, and the IC is definitely more efficient. I am on the stock turbo. It's doing really well and my power down low is awesome, but my turbo and wastegate met it's match with the IC. My tuner was only able to push the boost to 17.5 psi because of the decrease in pressure and larger volume of the IC. That said, this could change slightly based on your wastegate since our arm isn't adjustable, and depending on your temperature. It's been pretty cold here in PA during my tune.

All but done with my tune from Dave... just have to send over some logs for him to check up on things after a little mileage has passed. My experience has been very positive, and I'm very hopeful to stick with Dave for tuning my wagon as I tack on more parts. Currently at a "stage 2" setup with a catted downpipe, catless uppipe, and Grimmspeed TMIC. Dave did a great job very safely and carefully tuning the car. It feels much stronger over the Cobb OTS stage 2 map that I was previously running, especially in the low-mid range. I've also noticed a bump in my gas mileage, especially just as boost is kicking in where I could tell I the OTS map was rich. Now I just need to get a turbo that can keep up with the efficiency and size of this TMIC and get some more power under the hood. Thanks, Dave!

Very jealous of your AP brakes. This is my hopeful setup for someday when I have disposable income. It would be really nice to be able to run a 16 inch wheel sometimes (though less for you, because racecar, not rallycar).

You have to remove the old bracket and remove the clips from it. Otherwise the splitter won't line up right.

I had wire harnesses attached to mine and it's a manual. I'm guessing it's an 05-06 thing.

For what it's worth, I didn't have to grind mine to flatten it. It's fairly soft. But... Your suggestion works a whole lot better. Lol.

I had the same lip on my 05, but I just flattened it. It really wasn't a big deal. If you want to leave it intact, a washer under the bracket would allow that.

I thought someone mentioned that it would change the angle of the tilt... I was just thinking that if the pitch stop is the same, that means it keeps the same position relative to the engine. As for what that means in terms of what will get in the way on the firewall, I have no idea, as I don't have an OBXT. Just trying to help with what I thought of.

I was thinking this as I was watching, but isn't the pitch stop the same on both cars? So perhaps the pitch stop mount is located in a lower place on the OBXT?

I have a set of factory cross bars and ski racks made by Mont Blanc that came with my 05 wagon. Not using them since I had a Thule setup already. If you ate willing to pick up shipping from PA I'll be glad to part with them for a very good deal.
