Did anyone notice a leak coming from the pump (or the hose itself) prior to replacing their o-ring? I have an accumulation of some kind of fluid, either engine oil or PS fluid that is on my pump and collecting on the timing belt cover, so I'm not certain where it's originating from. AFAIK, the pump is original with 123k miles on it, so I'm going to replace the O-ring anyways, but I'm curious to see if this is a common issue with leakage.

Money's already set aside. Merry Christmas to myself!

The PLA is pretty strong. Depending on the design and amount of fill internally. It is plenty strong for everything we have designed so far. I wouldn't call it "structural" but i don't have any hard numbers on strength.
Well I was thinking would it be strong enough to be used as brackets for under the hood stuff like a catch can or wire/fluid line mounts?

Lol i didnt think about this diagram. I was looking at the transmission, axle, drivetrain... it wasnt on any of those. Never even thought about the differential

And 806735290 is the right seal? I read the seals are directional but Fred Beans can't confirm it's the right one

How strong is the material?

I get to replace another half shaft next month.. yay. First time was passenger front, this time it's drivers side front.
Well, at least both of my ball joints are relatively new, so they shouldn't be seized.
But refresh my memory, it was Duralast #7336 that everyone was recommending, wasn't it?

I would venture to say, people who are just stumbling onto this thread don't realize that the best updates are being posted on NASIOC.. with the link that was provided a few pages back

Anyone hear from Dave lately?

I jumped on the 68hta bandwagon when Forced Performance had their Christmas sale but I haven't installed it yet because their compressor housing is an STI style one. I bought RacerXs FMIC but ended up not liking pipes all over my engine bay so I'm just waiting for this TMIC. I could get the PW one with the STI hose but without a shroud Im not going to get it.
Im going to stick with 93 octane but I am thinking of redoing my fuel setup from ID 850cc sidefeeds to their top feed conversion with 1000cc injectors. I'm pretty sure I will come close to my 300hp goal. I don't drive my car much so E85 is out of the question

I'm a 3rd party deveper for a flight simulation game my entire team shares the same opinion on giving out release dates. Better to piss off a few impatient jerks than to release a faulty product and piss everyone off.
Take your time, GS. Make it right the first time.

I wasnt talking about bnr in general, just their 68hta. Most people here have their 16g, 18g and 20g
-
Im not familiar with that one. Mine is a Forced Perfmance 68hta with a 7cm compressor
-
Which compressor housing did you go with? I also have a HTA68 and with supporting mods, I'm curious to see what numbers I'll be able to put down on 93

I just jizzed in my pants. Again.

Not to mention, I had already asked that question.. and it was already answered earlier this month lol

Anyone installed the ancillary hoses yet? I cant figure out which vacuum lines get replaced

I think the GS unit will likely be the full width of the splitter, meaning that the whole section in the red box above will be directly over the IC. You can only do so much with the space available.
I'm really excited to see what GS comes up with and what results people can get out of it, but at the end of the day I'm concerned with how small our actual hood scoop is compared to the STI/WRX. It seems like that's the ultimate limiting factor.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that. Perhaps there needs to be a side by side comparison between IAT's between the LGT and the WRX to see if there's a difference?
The only thing I can think why Subaru would make such a tiny scoop on the LGT is that for some reason, the LGT's hood is more aerodynamic than the WRX and doesn't require a bigger scoop to get more airflow? Like maybe it's just more laminar and not turbulent like the WRX? (Only guessing).
-
That was my point, and why they are designing the 08+WRX/LGT fitment, because it is different from the STI manifold.
I must have missed where it said the STI version was also in development. Yes, the 08+WRX/LGT has the same manifold. I still have the LGT manifold. I do not however have a turbo with a flange like the LGT/WRX. Mine shoots out to the side, like the STI, but requires an extra hose that Process West sells ($98 or so at Rallysport).
Since the PW TMIC is no longer offered in the US, this TMIC is pretty much my only feasible option, unless I do decide to go with an air/water intercooler setup, which I am still not completely sold on.

Will there be an option for the guys who are running an STI style turbo but the LGT/WRX composite intake manifold?
