Thanks! I run 225/45/18, wanted a little more meat. I ran them without spacers or a drop for a long time and it just didn't look right. I was hesitant to get spacers with all the horror stories you hear, but I felt comfortable getting the V1 model and knocking out the studs to put new ones in.

 

I have to admit though, they are only 7" wide and with the new suspension, my tires are my weakest link. I am debating getting new wheels all together at 8.5" wide to have more grip. Keep that in mind.

Anyone have any pictures of a 5th Gen Legacy with Spec B wheels? I got a nice lead on a set of 2007 Spec B wheels 18x7 et 55, just not sure how they would look.

Check out my shots with the Spec B wheels. Everyone is right here, I wish I had went with a wider wheel, I just loved the look of these too much. With the offset they have they do look sunken into our massive wheel wells, but I threw on 17mm Ichiba V1 spacers, and with the Bilstein/RCE black combo I really like the look.

I had the same symptoms yesterday all day, and then last night. Took the car to the dealership this morning (of course the lights were off all of a sudden) and they pulled the code p2763 "Torque Converter Clutch Pressure Control Solenoid Control Circuit High".

 

The tranny felt fine, but I am a little weary with this being the first year of the CVT. I mentioned that to the service manager off the bat and she exclaimed how they haven't had any issues with the CVTs, and then the error code came up.

 

Luckily I have a warranty on this thing, Im at 71K and I have the 100K warranty.

 

They cleaned the sensors on the control module on the tranny and haven't done anything else. Calling back if the solid check engine comes back on.

 

Bottom line is after this rant, any other 2.5i owners ever experience this or have any serious issues with your transmissions?

Haven't installed it yet my friend, it's going to be awhile unfortunately.

Just picked up a Myron and Davis nav unit. Should be arriving next week. Has anyone with the unit bought the ipod cable off of their website? I had the base model system and just used the AUX cable for my ipod, I'm wondering if the hookup would take out a little of the distortion I hear with the stock head unit.

Added hellas, black to the front grille, and headlights from IDRVSLO which are incredible. Hope the pic loads right and isn't a newb fail.

Thanks for the replies guys. I was interested in what 2.5i owners have to say, only because I believe the stiffness of the shocks varies between the GT/3.6R and us lowly 2.5ers. You guys are stiffer down below...

Fellow 2.5i owners, I'm wondering how your springs (RCE, Swift) are holding up on OEM shocks. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
