Installed Diode Dynamics Tail as Turn with backup modules. Sweet little upgrade! Glad to get rid of those lame amber turn signals and the LED's really pop. Did LED's for turn as backup and backup lights while I was back there. Bright as all hell.
Like it so much I might do the wife's 2018 Outback Premium. Just replaced the license plate lights with LED's and backup lights on hers. Headlights and fogs next ...
My only concern with DD Tail as Turn (and it's more of a pet peeve) is that when you have the turn signal on, there's no brake indication anymore on that light. At least that's the way it seems in a few videos I've seen.

Hahaha, I guess it's settled then.
Matte was going to be easier to apply (Plasti-dip) but I guess I'll look into a gloss vinyl wrap instead.
-
Winter??? Pfft.
Looks good, though! Still really liking the chrome delete!
I agree the chrome delete looks fantastic. The only thing I'm debating on mine is if I go with a gloss or matte.

Looks slick! I like the red trim on the grill. How'd you add that, my JDM doesn't have that.

Define "higher quality." Explain in detail why and how you consider the OE windshields deficient. (Note: Anecdotes don't count.)
How many marks is that out of? You sound like my teachers of past.

I did an easy upgrade to the Morimoto type T LED fog lights with the yellow Lamin-x film. Just ignore the busted grill that still needs to be changed once I settle on something.
I've got a stock OEM grill available if you're interested from when I swapped over to the JDM one. PM me if you're interested, I have it listed in the For Sale section.

Today I learned what a rear fog light is.
Would love to see a video to see how it works on our Legacies.

Now that the summer months are here and I don't have as many pockets available, I generally put my keyless fob in there. I find it fits it perfectly, and I imagine that's what it may have been made for.

Cleaned it up a bit and removed paint splatter, so had it fully machine polished:
That red trim on the front lip is really growing on me.
-
Yea, I would agree there. Also might make it a heat-sore for the coppers.
-
OMG that looks amazing! How much did it cost you? I want one too!
I'd be curious to know as well! Also, did you keep your stock "3.6R" emblem?

When you install yours,I recommend using a bolt/nut or plastic push pins to secure the lip.
I second this, and suggest you use the plastic push pins instead of nut/bolt/washer.
I installed mine with nuts, bolts and washers and it was on there solid. That was the problem though. I accidently bumped it, and because it was so securely connected to the bumper it ripped it off the bottom leaving a gaping hole where each of the front bolts were attached. Because I used washers, the holes that were left were huge, and mounting anything under there was pointless unless I got a new bumper.
Had I used the plastic push pins, there's a better chance that those would have snapped or released the lip, which would have caused less damage all around.

Looks like it’s a radar and laser jammer; the name is just a front, right OP?
Oh you sneaky buggers. I even went to their website and it looks like it's a parking aid.
-
Haha! That's one of the few driving aids I'm glad Subaru doesn't have!
But good job on the installation, looks clean.

I dipped mine awhile ago. Holds up fine. Just make sure to do a few light coats to make it even and easy to remove later if needed.
I always love your car. Same colour as mine, so it's awesome that I can see how it'll turn out. I'll likely do the rear bumper at the same time. But will leave the trunk lid and roof stock.
I used plasti-dip on my JDM grill, and liked the results. Ended up re-doing it with (Rustoleum's) Flexi-dip. They are very similar, but I found flexi-dip to be a little more liquid as it goes on and I liked the results better. Flexi-dip looks a bit more rubbery once applied.

He had it wrapped..........

I'm convinced to do the same now. Might plasti-dip it instead, but should look the same.

It's also basically the perfect size for that space. Most newer tablets have gone with the 8" screen with a different aspect ratio, which may not fit as well (or at all) in the cubby.
-
In the summer time when I don't have a jacket, I place my keys in there (keyless start). Otherwise, it sits empty as I don't like to have anything visible in those open areas when I leave the car.
In a pinch, I have placed a phone in there and it fits perfectly for most small to medium sized phones (no Samsung Notes, or Pixel XLs).
-
I'd be really happy if you want it, you've contributed a lot to this thread.
Send me a PM with your ZIP code and I'll let you know the cost of shipping.

I upgraded my 2006 LGT to a 2015 Legacy 3.6R this summer.
Since I was trading in my car, I put it back to stock. I have sold off the tablet, but I still have the custom cubby that I made to fit around the tablet. I'm going to take it to the recycling center in a week. If someone wants it, and will cover shipping costs, I'll happily ship it over (I'm in Vancouver, Canada).
Here's some links of some pictures so you know what I'm talking about:

I can include the ProClip mount as well if you like (just the mount for the car, not the part that mounts to the phone).

Welcome to LGT.com!
I know the feeling, I just got the same car (but 2015) a few weeks ago.

That one is called Car Home Ultra. There's a free version and a paid one I believe. I have the paid one, and have been using that on my tablet for years now. It works quite well on my phone too. Very customizable, and allows automation for things like starting and stopping when the car powers on and off, along with a bunch of built in features that are good to have.

It's been a few days now with this setup, and I'm very comfortable and happy with how easily it works. Here's a quick video of how simple it is placing it in the cubby and removing it.

The reason I have to swipe the phone is because of my lock screen settings. However with Android Auto, it actually turns the screen on and shows the app without and swipes.

Out with the new and in with the old?
I've reverted back to stock now, as I had to rip everything out for the airbag recall. Since I'm going to sell the car in the new future, and don't think it adds any value to the car I'm leaving it stock.
That being said, I've added a couple of magnetic mounts into the cubby, and a magnetic micro USB charging cable. Added all the same software to my Android phone (Samsung Active S6) and it's basically the same experience on a smaller screen.
The nice thing is I'm not worried about power management anymore, the phone goes with me when I leave, and there's no fiddling with cables as it all magnetically snaps into place.
What do you use the tray above the cupholders for?

Very jealous of your Android Auto built in. I have my phone on a mount running Android Auto, but it's not the same.
