I don't yet have all the parts I need to make my jazzy dream come true, but my sat radio in my 4runner sounds great! its hard wired to my head unit and sounds awesome...

Interesting, what exactly do the diodes do?

sat, im planning on just mounting a plug in the center console to plug the mp3 player into, the sat will be more of a permanent addition

I haven't bought one yet, but the website for the XM Commander also says 3.5 mm mini audio.
The cleanest install I've been able to think up is this:
Jazzy -> male-to-female 3.5mm extender cord -> 3.5 mm male-to-XM cord
or
Jazzy -> male-to-female 3.5mm extender cord -> 3.5 mm male-to-iPod cord
If I mount the extender cord jack inside my armrest and route the XM cord to there as well, I can plug in XM (looking totally stock) or put the iPod in my cupholder iPod stand and plug it in using the little armrest cable cutout.
Has anyone come up with a nice way of securing the cable to the Jazzy? I don't expect it to pull out, since the other end will be mounted in a panel, but I'd like to be more cautious.
Thank you very much, but I have sirius in my 4Runner direct connected to a pioneer head unit and want to stick with Sirius + Howard

now if only I could find a external display that was red

You will need to look at how this plugs into your overall system. I bought one of these. It comes with RCAs and one RCA to 1/8" single male, then I need another split for the sat radio and ipod, so needed two other adapters. I did not have them the first night, so had to go back to the store.
yeah, I want sat. and one for my MP3 player which uses the normal head phones jack like the jazzy. What do Most external sat. use? RCA?

Ok Thank You, Im kinda of a newb when it comes to this stuff but, I thought cars only had problems with this back in the CB days... Does this only affect certain things that are hooked up to the jazzy board? If it’s a problem that everyone is having then jazzy I would recommend selling a cable with the board defiantly

Im in lancaster but I cleared them already. Sorry
That sucks... what did the cop say and were you on the circuit? Also, were you pulled over for "cleared" lights or for speeding or something and then they noticed the clearing?

Jazzy! I have had this kit probably for a few months! I just installed it last night! Great MOD! I’m 100% satisfied. I ran out of day light last night so I will finish the basic wiring tonight.
Thanks Again!
