  1. That is strange on the Ipod, I've used multiple Iphones, Itouches and classics with mine no problem

I do wish I could get it to play a telephone call through it though :(

It does indeed seem to be better when i turn the volume down to 50-75% depending on the file/song being played.

I don't know the output specs on the ipod classic headphone jack vs the Blackberry Torch and Samsung Captivate that didn't have any SQ issues...

  2. I have a question on the input.

When I use my Blackberry with the input, it sounds great (also with an Android phone I had).

When I use my Ipod (Classic 160gb), the sound quality is horrible. Is the volume from the headphone jack on the ipod too much at full volume or is it not loud enough and in need of a headphone amp?

  3. I wouldnt recommend it, the outback suspension is way under damped, and it floats all over the road even when new. Maybe if you could find aftermarket shocks and struts it would be good but not stock.

If it is height you want get the BC/BR coilovers made for outback (only difference is the have longer shock cartridges) and you can go stock lgt height or outback height whenever you want.

    +1 to that.

There is a reason so many of us are willing to lose the ride hight and go with a stock LGT suspension.

  4. outbackxt05, I went to my local Subi dealer for the alignment. Have you gotten your alignment done yet?

Rix, 235 will be pushing it, let alone 245. Not sure how it will be with your wheels and offset though. The standard 225/45 17's for the outback are REALLY close to the front spring perches as it is.

ssbtech, you'd need a different rear setup from the Specb anyway since the specB is sedan only. (someone correct me if i'm wrong) Unless you have an outback sedan of course.

  5. I finally got around to installing mine last weekend.

The hardest part is the soldiering of the ground loop. I eventually got it to work with the existing soldier from the circuit board and some electrical tape.

Everything works and sounds great. The only thing i have to do is mount the switch. For now it's hanging out in the armrest.
