I took the SS back to the dealership to have the AC checked since they gaurantee the work they did a few weeks ago. They think the AC compressor is on it's way out. I'm debating whether to pull a compressor from the yard or buy a new one. A new one is about $500 and a salvage compressor is about $25. But at $100 a pop to charge it I might be better off in the long run with a new one. Hmm....
Have you called http://www.superrupair.com/ My friend in Boulder thinks they are good, just dont take my compressor

otherwise this can happen. (a friends car)
See the problem with that belt is it doesn't have any cracks in it. Cracks make it last longer!

'93 wagon started squealing yesterday. Thought it might be the AC belt tensioner. Took the belts off and it was still squealing. So I guess its a TB idler.
Any good how tos out there?

So you were 15 ten-thousandths out or did you mean 15 thousandths? AKA .015?
Cause .0015 is like 38.1 microns, kinda small and hard to measure without lasers or scanning electron microscopes.
