tri staters have no fear, that earthquake was nothing more than a spec b on straight pipes rumbling down the Turnpike.
thats full of win...and i never felt anything

07 spec b driving around milford, ct....oh wait thats me
-
everyone knows spec b's are just compensation
Ouch
-
you dont park a spec b, the spec b kicks you out of the car.
pushes you out of the car as it drives by
-
Spec B's can only be seen while parked..everyone knows that.

this thread is getting fun

spotted a silver LGT on 287 today...you were heading east at about 9:34 am...new york plates, badgeless front grille...not sure what else as I was driving west

Spotted an 08-09 Spec B I think, had some work done to it, traveling south on the merrit. I was with my buddy in his SWP LGT and another with a 2.5rs...too much traffic to play

I had a 2001 VW Jetta with 18x10 Brock wheels in the rear w/255/35 tires and 18x8.5 Brocks up front with 225/40 tires on a front wheel drive vehicle. In practical, yes, bad ass look, HELL YES.
Its nice to see another from the VW crowd over here. You must of had Brock B1's i'm hoping at least. I had a 20th AE with a jetta front end, boser hood on 19" BBS CH's that were hella flush and tucking tire.
I have coilovers on my Spec B now, just need to figure out a wheel setup that I like, and then I can roll the fenders and go down another inch or so past the already almost two i'm down now. Gotta love that stanced look. And the grids look great on your car. But I do agree with you, coilovers a must.
And I have BC coilovers and absolutely love them. If you wanted an opinion for a coilover setup.

If anyone wants to know with VW tuning software, its not like software for subarus. VW's dont have to worry about getting tuned with each phase of adding performance parts. The ecu will learn and adapt to whats going on with the flash tune up to a certain point. Basic bolt ons would be intake, intake manifold, exhaust and intercooler. Some tuning companies for VW/Audi do have different tuning flashes to support for injectors and different turbos

I'm still loving this gauge!
The only downside I've seen is that while boosting, I hear this small wistle coming from the sending unit.
Other than that great gauge! Stock car I'm boosting at 13,2-13,7psi peak!
JP
did you put a zip tie or something around the vacuum hose at the connection? And what size vacuum line are you using? I have a a zip tie around a 5/32 hose that i'm using and have no problems.
By the way, finally got the gauge wired up this past weekend and Its awesome, all my friends are amazed. Its great to see gauges getting away from the conventional circular pod design!

On an 05' LGT its fuse position 26 under the dash, IG2 (bottom right fuse IIRC). Just use a fuse tap to grab power.
what about 07 spec B
-
so for those that have installed the gauge...where is the exact best spot to hook up the power? Is it this fuse for IG2? I havent looked at the fuse panel yet, plan to do it on saturday
