#6) Tire is pretty much as billed. Gives dry/wet performance in line with what you'd expect from an allseason tire. In light snow, it performs admirably. Haven't had it out in deep snow but I expect it to perform poorly. The tread isn't aggressive enough to get rid of snow and the ABS fired rather easily from packed snow. It did eventually dig down, faster than that of what an allseason did but would be a car length or two more over the more aggressive Contis if you were stopping from 35-45mph. Pretty much as billed, something that gives you a bit more traction in snow/ice but never to be a mistaken for a true snow tire. Comfortable compromise if you're not in an area with regular snowfall.

  2. Definitely slip the clutch a bit more and you will be good to go. I ran my car stage one at about that temp too. So I dont think the temp impacted it too much. Subarus love to have the clutch slipped on the launch. Just dont slip it too long. :spin:

The trap speed as awfully low -- that temperature wasn't helping the engine any. Missing 4-6mph somewhere, that is the likely culprit.

  3. Outstanding effort though for your first time. Go back when it isn't a billion degrees and I am sure you'll be scraping at around 13.9

Definitely agree you want to launch it a bit lower -- you might want to slip the clutch a bit to get the absolute best time. Your 60' suggests the car was bogging for one reason or another, be it heat or suddenly loading up the engine when dropping the clutch. Other than that, 94mph ain't bad for that amount of heat. Looks like you were shifting at the right times and keeping it from venturing too close to the limiter. These turbos seem absolutely worthless for the last 1k RPMs.
