Just did it from the back. Took some car arm bending with bare legs exposed to a hot driveway.
Thanks, worked great.

Can I buy just the cans? And do they have a wider diameter fitting to bolt up better to my perrin y-pipe?

Improved brake bias and improved heat management. Improved brake bias will improve braking distances as it will make the rear wheels not be underutilized when heavy braking is taking place.
In addition, the larger rotor will improve heat management which will give you more consistent braking under heavy loads (i.e. track events, etc.)
I can replace my front pads with bars of soap. That will create less heat and shift braking bias to the rear.
So i guess BBK's allow you to run grippier pads and still deal with the heat they create?

Is it safe to assume mods setup are going to include pads with a greater friction that stock?
Though I think its better you kept this out of the calculations up top.

$799 for the AP and our map
So how much for just a map? A huge amount of us already have the AP's
Your 1.5T map would be of interest.
In addition, your mild 18g tune without fuel mods would be interesting as well.

I'm just about finishing up my break-in period. I noticed that my AP still had the older version of the map on it, so I was wondering if there's anything reason why I shouldn't just go ahead and update it to the v1.10?
There is a thread on this update.
I noted -->some minor tweaks for smoothness, and rev limited raised to 7000rpm
Additional maps(economy map)

At what point is a laptop required? Just when download new maps from the internet?
What maps are included on the access port by default?
Anyone try this out with Linux. Has it run successfully under Wine?
Thanks

I like the doing more early approach, so you can enjoy the mods longer.
vs. doing expensive mods 5 months before selling the car
