Just a heads up, in my experience McIntosh speaker surrounds disappear around the 10 year mark. If these speakers haven't already been done and are approaching that age or are older, I'd consider getting new surrounds (even if not cracking) before having to do another pull and install.

I am not doing anything. I am just curious what the process is if someone was trying to replicate the Audi RS flares onto a Legacy.
Sorry, was responding to legacybt. Asking why go the rounded Outback style flare route when that option is already available and doable. I personally don't think adding box fenders is worth the work. I just like the way they look better and more unique to throwing Outback styled fender flares on a Legacy. Even if they are more pronounced to run 295's.

Well, the BP already has factory Outback doughnut fenders to use and blend. Are you going bigger than that?

I was hoping Subaru would have given the S402 box flare treatment like the WRX/STI. RS4 got em too...

Thought of that. I had a BH Outback VDC lowered on LGT suspension with stock sized Outback tires. Lots o rub.

I prefer box flares to humps. And I'm resisting the urge to lower. This is the only wagon I've owned that I haven't lowered. You guys and being here makes resisting quite difficult. lol

Growing up with a mom exclusively driving 2+2 280z's with 3 kids and having had (and currently have) many Legacy wagons myself, I am attract to above image. Fine examples of each.
