  1. I would guess pre and post facelifts would be the same size. I have the post facelift headlights and am using bulbs made for a Chevrolet Spark. Can be found at your local Autozone. Can't remember the exact model. But keep in mind that these are dual filaments. I wanted to have these bulbs act like usdm.

Also, because I wanted dual filament bulbs in that location, I used a usdm rear dual filament socket (for our car) slightly modified.

As for leds, they may hyperflash. I don't think a code would get thrown.

Negative. Bulbs from my usdm turn signals are not the same as the ones in my pre-facelift jdm headlights. Was just looking for the correct bulb size if anyone knows what they are running in their pre-facelift headlights.

  2. Hey Guys, So I'm selling a set of refinished golds. 2 mint with no imperfections and other 2 freshly redone by Ye Olde Wheel Shop in MD in FLAWLESS condition. If you are local to the area you know their reputation. Looking for $1k (no tires) and a local pickup. Before you bash me know that I have more than my asking price in them with the refinish. Just wanted to put people on notice if they wanted to PM me or e-mail me (my username at gmail) before I take pics and post them up for sale in a thread. If you are looking for a set of new BBS golds these are as close as you are going to get. Thanks!
  3. Hey guys, I just picked up my goldies from Ye Olde Wheel Shop from being completely refinished. They used proprietary Subaru colors and the gold is as close to perfect as I have ever seen. If you are in MD I would HIGHLY recommend these guys because their work is nothing short of phenomenal. Unfortunately, i'm selling the car to buy a house so these must go. I'll be making a FS thread this weekend with pictures but feel free to PM me if you think you might be interested in a brand new set of goldies! ;)
  4. Anybody looking for a spare Silver BBS PM me. No curb rash, bends, or cracks. I'll put up a thread in the wheels and tires section over the weekend most likely, but wanted to mention it on here since I noticed some people post on this thread saying they are looking for one.

And because i'm a whore here's my crappy cell phone pic ;)

  5. noob question, why can you just use adapters to fit 05-06 bbs instead of only buying a set from an 04?

I did this and in all honesty it's easier to just run the 5x100 setup. You have to roll the fenders and with the offset and the adapters they poke out quite a bit. If you want a set of the 5x114s I know where you can find a set ;) Sold the adapters to a friend for his vw but I still have the wheels. haha

  6. Has anybody put on 5x114 bbs wheels using a 1" adapter? I was wondering how this might have worked out for anybody who has tried it. The adapters only run between $90-$100 and it seems like it might be a good economical solution, but I don't know if you would have to roll the fenders to keep it from looking like the wheels are sticking out too far.
  7. Thanks, i'm probably going to take a look at them this coming weekend to see what's up. I'll def pick some of that paint up if I do because i'm anal and i'll want to make them perfect before I put them on. Bnguyenbb6, did you use bondo or some of that epoxy weld to touch up the rash on your rims?
  8. So I had given up my search for these wheels when today I found a gold set near my house with some BF goodrich g-force rubber that are claimed to be 75% good for around $1200. The wheels are supposed to be pretty good with some minor curbage one one. Is this a decent price? I was also wondering if anybody knew where I could find some gold touch up paint that would match in the event that I picked these wheels up.
