  1. I use a short sparkplug socket, then a uninversal joint, then a 12" extention. you cant see the socket or the u-joint, but there is enough room to get it all out. Also invest in a 1/4"ratchet buddy, and grind down an old 12mm 1/4" socket. after you crack the bolts on the coilpack, you can use that and a couple fingers to remove the bolts.

I also take out the air box, and battery, and the stupid framerail heat guards. took me 1hour and ten mins total.

I'm going to try and do it in less than an hour next week as I'm going to colder plugs....

  2. my lord.... a little retrogressive me thinks. cool project just wish it wasn't an LGT.

    I hate pushrods. antiquated technology......

I cant help but think of the millions of dollars of R&D that went into the very capable, smooth, powerfull, and light H4, only to be replaced by a far inferior engine in all technical aspects. I hope that money, convenience, and desire to be different are the reasons for this swap.

But like I said cool swap. Torque + traction = quick car

    sorrry for the rant

  3. I'm glad you revived this one.

Question? can i put a new plate/friction material on my stock DM flywheel?

I dont like what i hear about LWFW and I wanted to know if its cheaper than replacing the whole FW. (although doing it right is far more important to me than cheaper)I'm pretty much pegged with this Spec Stage 2+ and TSK3 kit. Now I have to pick a FW

  4. K62 366MHz, 4GB HDD. You are already at the max supported ram, not much to do there. Give W2K a shot, or XP in W2K GUI-mode (meaning the most dumbed down, no fancy effects graphical interface).

ROMRaider works on JAVA so I'm hoping your system specs meet the minimum requirements. Hey, it's free so there's nothing to lose.

Hit up eBay or Craigslist, there should be a ton of laptops to be had for under $100 which would be much faster than yours.

ah Muck thanks, I was kinda leaning that way anyway. I don't want the POS to crash in the middle of a flash
