  1. I'm very interested to see how you mate the v6 to the Subaru tranny and how the starter, flywheel, and clutch will work. The v6 uses the same bolt pattern as a SBC, right? How much room will you have in front of the engine with all accessories installed? Is a LS1 possible with the stock trans? I have been seriously contemplating this and have the mechanical and electrical capabilities to make it happen. I know it would be tight, possibly having to remove the front bumper beam and modify the radiator support to move the radiator and condensor forward as much as possible. If I can fit it under the hood and keep the awd, it will happen as soon as I find a beater car.
  2. I think what you are doing is great! I'm a die hard GM tech and love the idea of a GM powerplant in an LGT. Good luck with the swap. I'm interested to see how well it fits with the Subie trans. I have an L33 Chevy truck motor (all aluminum 5.3, 310hp/345tq stock) in the garage that I've been thinking about using when the 2.5 blows- it will. But I was planning on using a T56 trans and rwd only.
