  1. A cold air intake would have more intake, but this is better than stock and a lot cheaper than a cold air intake. Also, this doesn't require a tune whereas a CAI does. Plus the wicked awesome whooshing and BOV sounds that you now get to enjoy every time you put your foot down.

     

    If you're asking if there is any power increase, I've never dynoed my car, but I would doubt there is much. For me it was more that it looks good, sounds good, and was really cheap and fun to do.

  2. That's why I put the piece of lexan (clear polycarbonate) between the intake and the engine.

    Also, I would recommend leaving the scoop in place that redirects air flow to the intake

    Can anyone fill me in on how this benefits the car? is it worth doing this instead of an intake? Thanks
