G'day folks,

 

Made a few additions since the last time I posted here - an STI front tower strut brace, and an STI front lip spoiler.

 

These were taken at Homebush Stadium (where the 2000 Sydney Olympics were held). A great setting for night shots when its not too busy.

The final cosmetic I'm savings up for is the DAMD rear wagon spoiler.

Performance wise, I'm about to put in a HKS super hybrid filter - but rest of it is pretty stock (for now)

Not necessarily true. I've blacked out the roof of my last few cars and have never taken a hit on it.

 

 

I thought of going this route once, but it never had the same gloss as paint. I wanted mine to actually look like it had a panoramic roof...weird part was when other Legacy owners asked if it was glass.

 

 

Might want to contact the manufacturer of the vinyl to check that. After I had my car vinyl wrapped, I called to see about waxing it and they advised me not to.

Where did you buy this Vinyl? & did you or they cut it or does it come precut?

Hey guys. Thanks for the comments. I really do like the look the car has. Sorta looks like a panaromic roof now. The dog ... well he's just showing off his good side for the pose. FYI his name is Major - so i'd be careful with the comments!! LOL

Minuccims - the other shepherd is a German - black so there's ur match!!

 

Nah, I didnt want to paint the roof - that would devalue the car later on. Its just a stick on vinyl that has paint-like look. u can actually polish it to make it really shine.

Naseem: I agree, the Mate just does not work well, especially since you have glass sunroof.

Hope this time they will do this right!

I am all for get it right & moving on rather than settling for less.

LOL Chas I feel you there. The back was actually full of crap so it sunk in a bit extra. But yeah, better balanced hopefully soon. Imma finish my cars first, THEN gf-hunting hahaha

@ Naseem: It's 18" Rota Gravel on stock 2.5i suspension. Also it has a Centercap, i just removed the Black 'R' logo metal type sticker that was on it. I like it simple & clean.

I think the 35% looks darker than it actually is due to sun setting from the rear of the car.

Tints look a lot darker than they are. Tints are 35% all around :-)
