  1. My mechanic friend is more of the expert, but he thought you could remove the motor mount bolts and jack up the engine slowly without removal of anything else. We slowly jacked up the driver side first at an angle, changed the driver side plugs, slowly lowered the jack....then moved the jack slightly under the passenger side and slowly jacked up the passenger side and did those plugs.

You definitely want to have another person for an extra set of eyes on everything when you are jacking it up to make sure you don't harm any hoses or electrical connections.

Simply removing those two motor mount bolts is golden. I can't imagine doing the plugs on my 08 LGT without doing so. Thanks to everyone contributing to this project. How many pounds should I torque the two motor mount bolts?

  2. For what it's worth, you have my support in your ambition to do something good for us members who would like a set of these vents for the rear bumper to replace those reflectors. I think if you or someone on the forum could contact the maker of the JDM vents, we could find out if with some slight mod to their vent, they could come up with one to fit the USDM bumper. Just a thought. I'll look into it and pass on to you what, if anything I find out. Regards, Jim
  3. :confused:I just went to replace my fog light bulbs when I ran into a problem. I ordered from Candlepower as reccomended by Daniel Stern. The highs and lows were fine, but the upgrade for the fog lights just doesen't seem right. The base is completely different from the original. The original is 12V-55W H3. The replacement reccomended by DS is H3 Osram Night Breaker + 90 Ultra High Output 55W.

Is it me? Has anyone had this problem? Is it a problem. Do I have to do some modification? The Night breaker also has a white wire coming out it. Help!
