Spotted a nice LGT on the NYS Thruway Westbound around 5.30-6.30pm from exit 24-27. Plates were "L Fox" and had a very nice woman driving! I was in my CTS-V. Great car and nice ride.

Saw a white wagon coming down 87, tinted and almost seemed like azp/mikes wagon if not very very similar.

Saw it going southbound yesterday around 3-4pm.

That was us! We were up in Lake George for the weekend. I was probably sleeping in the passenger seat!

I had to take a doubletake on the FMIC, being car enthusiasts, we notice those FMICs but it was very stealthy. Paint it black or dark grey and it might even be more concealed!

It would be singular if you were to say, for example, "I have five sets of tint in stock" but that is a dif sentence.

You can't use "5 tints" in a proper sentance. You need to qualify it such as you did in the "I have five sets of tint in stock" or "I have 25 feet of tint in stock".

Just like a zoo can't say we have deers in our zoo, they need to say we have many deer in our zoo.

I think if you say "I saw a car with tints"..you are not embarassing anyone and certainly not the suby community..I would guess that most people under the age of 45 in the tri-state area use that term to refer to a car with tinted windows.

 

Although completely wrong (in the grammar sense), that term is really far from being ghetto.

I say "tints" too..sorta like how I wear "shades" even though there is only one tint on both glass lenses.

 

In the english language there are a few items that are both singular and plural in the same word.

Deer, there are no Deers

Tint, there is no tints

Shrimp, there are no Shrimps

there are a few more, but you get the idea.

When you guys refer to "Tints on my car" you sound like ghetto-wanna-bes and it's pretty embarassing to both yourself and the Subaru community.

I watched the circle line get stopped by the coast guard yesterday from my office window. The circle line & one of the water taxis crossed paths crazy close to each other. The 1 CG boat stopped the circle line & the other CG boat stopped the water taxi. That was a 1st for me

Nothing worse than the CG stopping yah in NY Harbor. 2 Years ago when I bought my boat, we were out on March 14th near the Statue of Liberty and got boarded by the CG. You can't really blame em too much, there were 4 of us in a 33' Cigarette Boat in NY Harbor in mid March and it was 47 degrees out!

was pulling with an 08 or 09 WRX on 15/5 in the newington area yesterday morning... he had me, but only cause his car was stick, and mine just hasnt been running right

Sun was in my eyes.

Tire Pressures weren't correct.

Didn't have my JDM Headlight Fluid in the car.
