Yeah, I know, I'm pooped. I vinyl wrapped my brother's steering wheel in his BMW because the paint was chipping off. Matte black, but a different type.. I'll post pics of that for the meantime :-p
What vinyl did you use for the BMW steering wheel? (came out really clean!) I was thinking about doing some of the trim in my car.
-
YES! That was it!

Today on Rt 42 in S. Jersey I think I saw a 2010 Legacy WAGON (?) w/ a black hood & red sides. I was up ahead of you & saw you get on 295s towards Delaware.
-
that was me...I had my black autox SSRs on
Ahhh...from the front I thought that was your car...the wheels threw me off.
-
Hey thats me .. the first time spotted by another member
What kind of car were you guys in?
I am on Rt55 constantly
gusgusdude...is your car dark blue or black? Hard to tell in that pic. Are you sometimes in Haddon Township? I've seen a guy around with a similar looking car in my neighborhood.

Passed a white LGT the other day on Atlantic ave in Oaklyn; think it had a front lip, looked like gunmetal rims...gave me the Subi wave. Car looked super clean btw...
I was in the BSM; disgustingly dirty & grille-less (it's being painted) . If they don't finish the construction on my street sometime soon I swear I'm gonna have to get my car repainted.

Spotted two today:
Around 11:30 at my gym (Retro Fitness) in Bellmawr: 09(?) Diamond Gray LGT...stock exterior
White 2.5i, tinted, black rims - I cut across the Black Horse Pike in front of you around 1:30 Nice looking car btw.

I just wanted to say thanks and I love the Aux-In kit. It took about 2.5 hours to install and it sounds great. The only thing to be careful of is the size of the switch hole. When you print the guide (whatever the default pdf print size is) it makes the hole too large.
-
Great! Thanks for the info!
I have a couple ideas to salvage it, and make it look clean if I can't find a bigger switch. If worse comes to worse I found a console on eBay for cheap. :-)
-
RedFloyd! I got a problem!
Got everything installed & tested; worked excellently.
I tried to button everything up & install the switch in the location shown in the instructions (seemed like a convenient spot) & made the hole too big. I went off the template in the instructions....but maybe I scaled the PDF when I printed...dunno. Regardless, the switch falls right thru.
Sooo...I need to a new switch. Can you tell me what I need to look for or a source for the switch? I just gotta find one big enough to fit. Thanks for your help!
Thanks!
Mark

Mine came in yesterday! Thanks Redfloyd! Hopefully will get it in this weekend or next week.

I was looking at these, but as far as I can tell...it doesn't look DIY (unless you can do upholstery). Wonder how much it would cost to have it done by someone..
-
I heard it is still there, just not on the display ramps
Yep! Drove past last night & it's still there towards the back... I've looked at a couple cars there in the past & it most were pretty high mileage for the price.

although I really did spot a 05/06 BSM with just 2.5GT on the trunk and a roof rack today in Haddon Twp on 30
Word...that was me. I ran out of Goof-Off before I got the 2.5GT off.
Did you catch the BSM LGT wagon for sale right on the White Horse Pike at the little dealer next to TD bank? Think they were asking 13,9 or so...looked clean from just driving by.

Any store who sells Yakima products. You need the Q78 kit, it includes two hooks and two rubber pads for the bottoms of the Q-Towers, you'll need 2 sets, 70 bucks + S/H. The guys at Rack Attack are very helpful. You can probably find them on sale at REI. That's where I got mine. Mine were 20% off on top of a 60 dollar rebate.
Search some Subie forums for used fit kits/racks as well. That's where I found my Q78's....same used for WRX's.
BTW - If anyone needs a fit kit, I have an extra I'd like to sell. Bought them for $45 shipped...so that's all I'd like to get. Includes (4) Q78 clips & pads.
Thx,
Mark

Ahhh...stinks you got a Thule! I have an extra fit kit for Yakima I couldve sold you cheap. Can't beat that price tho! Congrats!

Yakima rack, consisting of 2 Sidewinders. Also have a King Cobra attachment...but usually throw that on the wife's SUV stock rack.
Bought used for $100 (somebody really needed money) w/ a fairing that was far too short...so I picked up a used, but in very good condition fairing that was the appropriate width:

Think I spotted the same guy today on 295N. Has pennsy plates. Gave me a wave & was in front of me most of the way up the highway. Car looks clean man.
