can anyone show me a link to a 05 LGT with (stock UEL headers), catless up & down pipes, WITH 1 or 2 midpipe resonators, ending with straight pipes?

 

i'm currently cat-less all the way through with a single tip 4.25in fat muffler.

I want to add resonators, what kind of sound will i get?

Actually not everything. The lights for the radio, climate control, and the window controls don't work either.

Nevermind, figured it out. Clue came when i investigated exactly what i was tapping into. Also with none of the interior dash lights working correctly i checked the corresponding fuse and bingo, it was blown; swapped it out and all is well. Weird thing is that i thought that the fogs would work with the parking light switch but it only works when i have the daytime running lamps on AND the switch for the fogs are on. The parking light dosent seem to do anything at all. In any case went well. Kudos to Deer Killer

even weirder! i was testing while i was parked, but now i noticed...the lowbeams only shut off if i have the ebrake engaged...weird any ideas?

 

 

so your saying you did this with you DRL still active? or were they disconnected?

just wondering because i want to do this mod and scared that the same thing might happen. (my DRL's are disconnected)

Hey everyone, I'm also a noob with this stuff. I've followed qikslvr's info pretty much to the teeth.. here's my dilemma:

 

RomRaider is now connecting and able to log from my first test.

 

ECUFlash 1.29 will not connect to the ECU.

 

- Do I need to upload different ECU definitions and use it? If so, where?

- Site says the new definitions file won't work with any version prior to 1.31?

 

- Should I try a newer version? or newest one?

 

- Any other suggestions?

i had this problem too, all you need to do is completely delete the ecu flash program and simply upload it again....upon opening it, after uploading it again, make sure your vag-com cable is connected and your ignition is on test mode....when in testmode then open the ecu flash program1.29......trial and error this is what worked for me.. goodluck

i should now be considered stage 2 thanks to infamous tuning!!! i used ecuflash 1.29 and i finaly got wuthaheck to do & even my anoying check engine light is now off (since DP is catless & UP w/ no egt). ALL thanks to infamous (oh so helpful) and the creator of this post!!!! wooo wooo:whore:

ima try this....after reading a bunch of diff post.. i think i know wut to do...or atleast have an idea of wut this consist of...lol (20 year old import enthusiast).....im scared though, (fish bones,) said its bad to instal a CAI as 1st mod w/ no tune....wut kinda freakn tune do i need..cuz mines already instaled...HPS n it works w/ K&N sounds lika beaut....but wut kinda risk am i runin? the sound certanily feels as if i have more power..i luv it, but as for tune? wut kind do i need? geezalouise : /
