I probably can't speak for eveyone on the forum, and I've read through the thread. But I've worked as a 12V installer for many years, and dismantling interiors is simple. I've gutted cars and put em back together within an hour by myself, including 4th gen legacys. If you have the right tools, and you know how to swap the interior, it's a painless job to do.
The people that I've offered money to, I offered to do all of the work as well. Hell, I've even offered to bring a 6 pack of their choice to enjoy while they watch
If you ask me, watching someone swap interiors while drinking is well worth $500.
I've done the swap. And it's incredibly time consuming.

I guess I dont understand how he got the oem screen to mirror the HU screen. What does all that have to do with the HVAC and oem headunit?
Nothing to do with the HVAC I'm guessing. My aftermarket nav unit has a "Video Out", and you can set the OEM NAV screen to accept an input (do a search, it's on here somewhere). My bet is that's how he got both to show what the head unit is showing.

I would like to install this in my new lgt. seems a bit pricey just to put an aftermarket stereo in.
Should have been around for the previous "only option" (for stock location dual din placement).

I'm hoping to swap tan interior complete for black interior.
You, and 99.9% of the other people in this thread.
-
Any single din cubby "should" work. You can get one from crutchfield, amazon, subaru, or any place that sells car audio gear really.

I know it's common sense, and most here should be able to spot a scam email at any point. However, I did receive an email about my car for sale (LGT.com is the only place I have it listed). I'm not sure how they got my current email address (as the one linked to THIS account is my old-now secondary email address).
The email was from a "Chana Schroit"
Hello
Complement of the day.I'm writing regarding your placed ad,as i will like you to e-mail me the full detail, present condition(current photo if available),and please do get back to me with your final asking price and also let me know if you still have it available for sale
Obviously, a scam. Anyway, I just got the email today, so I figure they might have hit a few others selling cars here today. Just know it's obviously a scam.
I figure this will be moved by mods at some point, but hopefully it'll last throughout the day just in case someone else got the email today also.

Just curious if this thread has had even one successful interior swap between members?
-
Cool. Where in the metro area are they located?
-
What'd the tune run you?

I love the OEM sub. Fits me perfect and installation is a snap.

Got that Engine Start button? :-P

I'm having this same issue now I believe. But this seems to be out of my expertise level. Except mine is P0011 instead of P0021.

Awesome write up! I'll be utilizing this info when I put on everything I have (STi UP, Cobb DP, VF52, Perrin TMIC) in the next few weeks hopefully.

not the rears!
Anyone local care to ship these if I get them? Seller won't!
I thought it said he'd ship if you set up the whole shipping part? Greyhound would be the easiest shipping I'd think.
I know there are a lot of LGT'ers in CT. Might have to pay someone for their time/trouble though if he absolutely won't ship.

If anyone wants black leather wagon seats for a fair price:
Wow. Excellent deal!
-
know of anyone selling a driverside black leather seat? lost my seat heaters last year. no desire to take the seat apart to fix it.
Did you check the plugs underneath the seat? Long shot that one would come unplugged, but it's worth checking.

I'm trying to get the shifter trim/ radio sides but they want to sell it with the interiors. Anyone want sedan leather seats? (2005)
I thought you were trying to upgrade to the '07+ interior dash? If so, those radio sides are '05-06. I'm sure you're aware, just wanted to make sure.
-
Yeah, spare parts are always welcome, like the interior trim to update my dash to the 08-09
Wow! That'd be interesting! Makes me wonder if the instrument clusters are swappable (I like the 07-09 clusters better).

Lookin' good!

Zero. Had to let the insurance company take her away. Only had 22K miles.
Wow, that sucks. Maybe you could find out what junk yard they end up taking her to and post that so interested parties can contact them directly?

Any interest in a full 2009 black leather interior? I am in South East Wisconsin.
Wonder how many PM's you've gotten over the past 2 days.

The struts aren't the same between the wagon and sedan, are they? Obviously the springs are different, but what about the struts and top hats?
From what I understand, the front struts are the same sedan/ LGTwagon, but the rears are different.

Oooohhh.... Now I'm really curious. But I think so too. That's why this weekend, I will have but one mission: check it! I will remove the seat and look. Any precautionary advise? Like airbag/seatbelt sensors I need to lookout for?
Thanks, JDMChizad. I think I might just go with the Outback 2002-2004 since I've seen them cheap in eBay.
Just disconnect your battery before messing with any plugs for the seat. I'm not sure there are airbags IN your seat, but just in case it's always good to disconnect the battery.

I think I'm gonna release a few more beta units before selling the real thing. I have pcb boards on order, they will be in by late next week. After the beta testers seem satisfied I will be putting in an order for a production quantity. It could be a few weeks to a month, unless your lucky enough to get in on the next round of beta gauges, I expect the additional beta gauges to be out in a week or so.
I'd love to be in on the next beta group!

If I'm reading this right, you have the black leather interior. If so, be ready to have 1000 PM's within the next 24 hrs.
