05 BSM LGT on the way home from wicked big meet today...on 84, around CT/NY, at 3...dropped, rims, spoiler & roof spoiler, spats, hood scoop...I was in the BSM LGT too...I think it was lilziggy...

I have BC BR coilovers on my 05 LGT in Northern NJ (for the past 3 years/winters). They have served their purpose: squat and dive reduction, handling improvement, ride height adjustment. The ride is very harsh which I don't mind (unlike many passengers). But the front 2 now need new shock cartridges which can be purchased through BC for $95 each. But I will be purchasing koni/spring combination to replace the BC's. Northern NJ is definitely not the friendliest place for coilovers unless you are switching them in and out over the winter. If I had to do it all over again I would do a koni/spring combo to start. My personal opinion is that low end coilovers are not very good (it is what it is). Higher end coilovers like RCE tarmacs or even better, the AST's whitetiger is currently selling in the member classifieds are well worth the money if you have it. Just take good care of the coilovers to prolong the need to have them rebuilt. Swap them out in the winter (if possible) if you live in a place that has cold/snowy winters.

 

koni/spring combo > cheap coilovers

quality coilovers > koni/spring combo

 

But if someone is just looking to adjust ride height and could care less about drivability BC's may serve there purpose perfectly.

DGM (07 I think) LGT with Enkei NT03+M, exhaust, dropped...at the Palisade Center in West Nyack...looked really clean, I was in the dropped BSM LGT on Prodrive PFF7's...you were driving away in the parking garage, we waved...your ride looked awesome...

Thanks, appreciate it. My car is stage 2 with a perrin tmic. I got it tuned way back in the day from TDC before they went under. The exhaust is an autospeed turboback plus a crucial up. BC coils, 25mm perrin sways f+r...blacked out headlights with angel eyes, r-rev sports carbon fiber grill with oem emblem, blacked out rear lights with reverse cutouts...rims are FIVE:AD R5:F in 19x8.5 in stealth chrome...

Good eye, my dog was in the backseat that day, and the pic was from a hike up there a few months ago...

spotted silver LGT today around 3:15 on 7 lakes road in NY. I was at the rotary with a bunch of other motorcycles (on my bike, not in my LGT). it had wheels, springs/lowered, and big friggin exhaust.

 

That was me, on the way home from octoberfest at Bear Mountain last week.
