  1. Ahh, that's what I was expecting. Guess I have to pull out the Dremel again. Any idea on how much material was removed? Pictures from the testing, if any?
  2. Anyone have an aftermarket undertray installed with this? My OEM broke recently and am looking to pick up the GTSpec tray or something similar. Since I had to trim the plastic tray to get it to fit, I was wondering how likely it would be that I would run into fitment problems.
  3. I uploaded the pics to picasa. I hit the insert picture button and entered the url but it doesn't display.
  4. I wasn't complaining about the setup, I was merely asking for help. Anyway, I decided I wasn't going to mess with the cold side since it wasn't too misaligned, the couplers weren't kinking over to one side like the hot side ones are. Here are the pics of how I have the hot side pipes. I cant get that long 2.25" pipe to go where it needs to be. Some help? http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/6IC_v7-gpNlPi0t9GLWrmg?feat=directlink...Could someone tell me how to post pics? 5. The first thing I did was trim those tabs on the airbox, there was no way I was even going to be able to fit the pipe in without doing so. Even so, the box is pushed over so that the little rubber mount that's on the top right is sheared over as far as it will allow. I'll get some pics of how I routed everything and maybe you guys can give me some insight about where to place them better. Thanks a lot.
  6. Finally got around to installing this today. I had some trouble and I browsed through a lot of this thread but I can't read through all 35 pages. Anyway, I managed to get everything connected but I really had to force the pipes together. None of my pipes lined up even within an inch, distance or angle wise. Test driving the car, I get a whistling when I get to about 2700 RPM or so and gets louder as the revs increase. The car is suffering in power. I'm assuming it's a boost leak attributed to the fact that my pipes are all angled. On the hot side, the 2" pipe doesn't meet the pipe that comes up from the IC due to the fact that the airbox is blocking it and some hoses are pushing it aside. This causes the 110 degree bend that comes from the turbo flange not to meet up either. On the cold side, the pipe coming from the TB coupler doesn't meet up with the pipe that meets the one coming from the IC without it pointing all the way to the outisde of the car. As I said, I finagled it so that the couplers give enough slack to make the pipes come close enough together. Then I tightened the couplers down to where there is about an inch and a half of thread showing. Anyway, would you guys recommend me try and get the pipes a little closer together first or just look for the leak and see what I can do from there? I'd really like to not have to take apart everything because it was very hard to get the pipes even to the way they are now. Thanks.
  7. Is there a part number for the OEM turbo shield bracket? The thing that is attached to the downpipe and turbo via two bolts?
