Well these pins shouldn't have to be soldered Mac has a tool that's made to crimp these type of pins. Though it's always better to use new pins. Does anyone have a P/N for these pins by any chance?

Thanks for the help guys. Those pins are a bit annoying to remove especially when all my tools are at work. Pins look similar to the ones my helicopters have in the instrument panel.

Whats up guys i have a few questions for you guys. I recently purchased an 05 Legacy GT limited and I'm loving it but of course i want to listen to my iphone and my mp3. I purchased the radio from an 07 LGT and would now like to install it in my car. I've read that some LGT's have a stock SUB under the seat but i've checked and their is nothing there. My first question is if i dont have the SUB can i still install the radio or do i have to get a sub and harness? My second question is about the aux mod all i really want to do is hook up a regular audio wire with a male end that goes into the mp3 or iphone headset jack. Can i just buy a 3.5mm audio cable cut one of the ends and insert it into the i85 plug? I know you guys have probably answered these questions but I'm new here and i've read this forum and I'm still a bit confused. Thanks for the help
