I was looking at the Deity Compounds actually. Thin, lightweight and grippy for a cheap pedal.

Just picked up a lightly used '12 Trek Marlin the other day to get back into biking. I used to ride a single track by my old highschool years ago but had stopped. Decided biking would be easier on my knees then running is and it is so far. We'll see once I start hitting the trails up again, only done some light trail riding the past couple days.
The only thing(s) I don't like about it so far is that the front brake sucks, it works but its not grabby enough for me. That and the pedals suck, my feet slide around every once in a while. Might have to swing by my LBS and check out some platform pedals.

Any one have a stock Single mass flywheel for a 5sp lying around I can buy? Need to do a clutch soon and don't want to have any downtime when I do it.
-
I've done Wilwood calipers and I opened the outside bleeder screw first for about 5 minutes as it's the furthest away and allows fluid to come all the way into, through, and out of the caliper.
Interesting, I did them by the hold pump and hold method before starting with the inside bill give it a shot once I bleed them again.
-
How would you do this with brembo's? I only have them on the front but I guess You'd do the inside first then the outside blender?

Have a photo of his car?
How low mine is. I could probably pull it off.

Thats a hefty spacer up front, and my car is low as shit, doubt it would work for me.
-
I may have to go that route if no one picks them up as is....
If I knew for a 100% certainty that these would work with brembo's even with a small spacer I'd be all over them like maple syrup on hot cakes.

I love my Evo 16G. Can't wait to install it on my Spec.B. But quite honestly, I think both would meet your requirements. AFAIK they have very similar power potentials. One thing to consider: if it dies, Bryan can rebuild one of his Evo 16Gs for $400. If a VF52 dies, it's unrebuildable (although used ones are more common -- but they are still around $700 AFAIK). Also, I think VF52s are only warrantied in their stock application and if installed by a Subaru dealership. Bryan's warranty is considerably more generous (but check your OCVs and banjo bolt filters, and run a filtered oil line).
You can actually rebuild a VF52. I'm waiting on my lazyiness to ship my VF52 out for a rebuild right now.

Just out of curiosity if I end up doing this, would I need to get retuned right away? Or can I drive the car how it is, I'm trying to piece some needed parts before a retune in the spring.

Auto's and the Spec B's have VDC. The 5sp GT for 08-09 have no VDC.

Thats what I was thinking was the case. No biggie, I'll just hold out for a set to pop up. I'll just push the button while I pull back the drivers mirror to act like they are powered lol.

Question, I already have the switch. Placed in my stock lighting panel, led worked and everthing. Thats not the question here tho, I have a 09 LGT, will my grandpa eyes and mirror scalps transfer over to the 05-07 style mirror? I'm asking this as there has been two sets of folding mirrors on ebay for a while now. Or are the two different styles different in size, haven't really looked at a set of 05-07's in depth in person.

Is there any specific model year for the STI MC+BB that works better than another? GD or GR? Or are all the model years the same?
From my quick search 04-07 STI use the same MBC and booster. But for sure 04-05 will work. I'm picking one up soon to round off my brembo, ss lines and fluid flush.
-
How do you like it? Can you post the specific part numbers of what you got? I'm interested in getting the same setup.
When I get home from work and wake up tomorrow (5pm-3:30am shift) I'll get you the part numbers.

My Thule setup. It needs a little adjustment but I got to take it off soon so I can wax the car for the winter. Figured while I was putting the rest of it on today I'd toss my board up on it and see how she looks.

Is it bad if I had a dream about buying windy road's swaybars...lol
Nope lol.

I can finally contribute to this thread now. A freind of a friend gave me a brand new Thule set up. I got to just get the faring off of him and then order my fit kit and a snowboard carrier and I'm set for this winter. Which is good cause I'm tired of putting my buddy's and my boards inside the car when we go up the mountains.

How does it feel compared to old with the intake and EBCS? And damn you and your easy speed Evo aspirations.
EBCS made a difference, feels like it spools quicker. It deffinitly holds boost better. Intake made no real difference besides sound
Oh trust me, intake, downpipe, boost controller, the cars quicker then a legacy would be with a 20g on it.
-
Fixed.
If I have the $$$, I may be interested in the wheels or the coilovers. Depends on where the cash flow is going at that given time.
But its used now, since its on the car Had the car retuned for the EBCS and Intake, shame its only at 17.5psi. Oh well new car if I can do it will be tuned for 25+psi and meth.
