2) DO NOT CUT TOO MUCH FROM THE STRUT HOUSING. Cut as close to the silver cap thing as possible! Koni's instructions call for our housings to be cut 40 mm down. This is making things kind of close. I highly recommend cutting even less than that to make absolutely certain the strut cartridge bumps will be all the way in the strut housing.
I cut mine at 40mm as per instructions, as long as you measure twice and cut once you should be fine. That said, you definately won't screw up if you go as high up as you can.

You can tell that if you cut too much, the bumps won't be able to get into the strut housing... which is what this tmemz guy did.
THANK YOU!!!
I wasn't sure if the bumps were supposed to go into the housing or not and no-one has seemed to have stated positively one way or the other. I saw that the bumps were going to enter but I wasn't sure if those bumps were where the cut should be or should actually enter the mounting tube. I cut mine and the bumps will definitely be inside the shock body so I am good to go!

Probably. Hadn't seen any other legacys when mine was there. They may need to upgrade to a bigger shop and more techs with the amount of business they've been getting lately. They deserve it.
Yeah, they are overflowing the street!!
And it doesn't help that the Van repair place next to them takes up practically the whole parking lot.
Good to hear that they are good guys though.

Nice! How did you like them? At some point I may need some bushing work done.

Saw a black LGT with gold rims at APM in Elmhurst.

Oh no, I meant on the corner of the two streets Indiana and Progress. Sheesh I have never seen a brewpub so packed so early!

Spotted an 08-09 Gray SpecB around 5pm yesterday with exhaust and shaved legacy badge, on 290 heading towards Thorndale after I got on from 83.
Spotted 09 Black SpecB around 5pm ........
Are you lowered?

That was me! Sorry, I don't check in here very frequently. Were you driving or spectating?
I had the Red RX7, I said hello so it should ring a bell.

Saturday 10/02: Silver LGT, Autobahn Race Track.

Not me then...darn. I'm really having trouble spotting LGTs around here. Last one I saw was before I got my car. I remember it was a dark grey (i think?) Gen 4 on 94 W around Foster exit.
I see them from time to time, but lots more LG's then LGT's.
I usually see LGT's when I am in my RX7 and RX7's when I am in the LGT.....
-
That's true. But I have my winters on the Spec B still. With the amount of power it produces it will shred those tires in mere seconds in the warm weather.
-
Wow wtf, as soon as I start driving the RX7 for summer I see Legacy's galore.
Two Red 2.5GT's today, one going south on rand and one going north on rand. Both near rand/53

I saw a 07 Spec B at Whirlyball Lemont, at Noontime.

Saw a 2010 Leggy at Five Guys in Mt Prospect today. At lunchtime.
