  1. Spotted some silver 05-07 legacy wagon with round roof rack cross bars with dark tint and driving the opposite side of the freeway on my way to Los Gatos around 3 or 4ish o clock in the afternoon. I think I was close to Campbell when I spotted this
  2. I had the problem of it hitting really hard but the end result was different I ended up a new trans and torque converter. Even after it was swapped it hit hard after I load the tune back on after the trans relearn. I had this problem a couple weeks ago too I had my trans relearn done but this time I went in with my stage 2 tune still on the car and not unloaded back to stock tune. It works like a charm smooth shifting. But I say have them take it out for a drive an log the voltages on the trans and TC and just leave your tune on.
  3. Well the first one blew up with the torque converter and it wouldn't allow me to shift in gear and it'll stall out. Now this one is hitting really hard everytime it shifts to 3rd gear. I cringe everytime it hits hard. The stealership replaced both the tc and a remanufactured transmission under warranty. So I figure that this 2nd trans could be 3rd gear going out and the hence the possibilty of me possibly needing to replace the trans again. That or the trans needs another re-program and re-learn and this being the 3rd time it gets reprogrammed.
  4. LGT 5eat car year? 08

IPT VB mod already performed? No

Are you willing to pay close to but less than IPT prices (perhaps again) for a proper shift kit modification performed by fellow 5eat performance enthusiast ClimberD himself? Yes if the price is a nice price

  5. They put in extra clutches for my 4th & 5th gears when they installed my TransGo kit. I believe they had to remove some material from the case to allow them to both fit, and they said there wasn't room for anymore than the two extra clutches.

Out of curiousity how much did it cost to to rebuild your whole tranny with all them goodies added to it minus the transgo?

  6. I think you are.... Also I pull a camper, a trailer, and a few G's:lol:

UGH OH you do a few G's while with the camper on the skid pad now thats is amazing:eek: now lets see the outcome of camper with the kid's in the backseat saying daddy go faster!!! ;) Now thats what you call keeping it real!! HAHAHAHA!!!

  7. I suspect something else is worn in your trans. If shifts are too firm, porting a valve body won't help. Might hurt. Are you the original owner?

Yea I'm the original owner and I'm on rallitek stage 2 tune via Cobb AP and I have a rallitek race tranny bushing. I've been reluctant to put in my tru-cool 4454 tranny cooler so I dunno if that may be the cause of the problem. I'll get that put in in 2 weeks. Well then what would be your suggestion that might be the problem to the tranny?

  8. Yes. We need a Transgo kit. Someone get on it! I'd be willing to shed out a few dollars to support the cause.

I live like 25 minutes from transgo and I'd be willing to be a guinea pig. Since my tranny is pissing me off of hard shifting. I'll contact them in 2 weeks about it after I finish my midterms. Maybe I'll pick up a floating vb (btw where is the link for the floating vb?) or drop off my whole car and let them take out the vb and modify and test it when I leave for vacation in december. I'll keep you guys updated on this!:p Need to accumulate some money of my own too to get this done of the poor college student's way haha. So if anyone else would like to contribute to this guinea pig experiment let me know. Most likely I may just drop off my whole car becuase I dont have that kind of money to buy a extra vb.

If anybody would like to contribute to me for this experiment please state which you'd like to contribute to floating vb or the other.
