Just found out about an hour ago - im headed to Columbus Sunday morning for 9 days. Flight/Hotel and POS car are already booked.

Ben, you're going to drive all the way up there to convoy? Seems a little out of the way, but I won't entirely discount it yet. What time do you plan on leaving your neck of the woods?

 

Apparently I'll be taking my wife to the airport at like 4am on 4/10... grrr. Better than paying for 10 days of parking, I suppose.

Shit - I already drive 120 miles a day - so it's nothing to me. Prolly plan on rolling out around 815 or so. Get up there around 845, then we could all roll out around 945 to head to red rocks.

Be fun to roll in with a big line of LGT's.

Question for everyone...so I don't have any mods done to my car. Would it be frowned upon for a non-modded lgt to come to the meet?

Not at all, my wagon is unmodded aswell. Lost that bug when I had kids.

I will be leaving from arvada and could set up a meeting place for people in that area right at 52nd and wadsworth in the home depo parking lot around 9:15-9:30? That gives us easy access to I70 without loosing anyone in traffic lights and there is a mcdonalds in the parking lot for anyone wanting to grab a bite to eat for breakfast.

 

So how does 9:15 sound for meeting up with a goal of leaving up to redrocks around 9:45? just figured I would offer.

 

*btw I dont really intend on driving up I70 like jackasses twords redrocks so anyone looking for that should plan on not meeting up first*

It was a long day yesterday getting my 60K done. Ran into quite a few problems dealing with a dealer installed Injector replacement I had done about a year and a half ago. Mike took the extra time to troubleshoot/diagnose/and fix the problem correctly that shouldn't have been there in the first place. On the drive back home last night, the wagon performed awesome!

On a side note, got to see Harvey live tune a 03 WRX wagon with an HTA86 in it. Also got to see one of his buddies "Supra Truck"

Definitely a good time.

Guess the best question would be: Knowing what you know now, with the bad service (or just plain stupidity) and lack of install quality, would you spend the $140 and go with them again? Or would you just go with a $200 install from Safelite?

 

I'm going to get a new one next week.

I think im going to spend the extra $$ and go with someone else.

$140 on site replacement. Beat the next price (my buddies wholesale price of $250). Safelite quoted $311, what a rip!

 

They are installing today so I will let you guys know how it turns out!

Does the replacement glass have the heating elements in it? I'm due for a new one in the spring aswell.

You got the right one, it just has RCA's instead of the headphone type jack.

I installed the same board in my car about a month ago, and couldnt be happier.

Yessir, that was it. Burned another silent CD with a Sony CDR, works good now.

Hey Guys, the car is currently ripped apart and I'm in the process of installing the board.

I have it installed and have the ipod connected, however once I turn on the radio - insert the silent cd - select cd - I get about 1 second worth of music. With only the silent cd in there, I can try to skip tracks and still only get 1 second of music. Nothing else.

I've taken it apart twice looking for anything that I might be missing, and I cant figure it out. I got the Pro kit - and did not connect the black or red wire on the PAC cable to anything. Is that whats causing me problems?

20 click method worked well in the past - but wont stick for more than a day now.

Pulled this plug from the rear - seat all the way up and back all the way up.

Works like a charm!!!!
