The TSX should give you the color and yes this is just form the E30 lens.

Did you have to modify anything to have the e30 lens fit snugly in the rx330 lens holder? My clear replica TSX lenses are much too small for the rx330 lens holder.

This is only Rx330 non-asf using RX lense holder and no spacing what so ever. no color modding at all.

Note: I am swapping shields again in a few weeks and will fix the misaligned shield that is causing the light to go down so much on the passenger side.

I assume that all the color came from the e30 clear lens? I just (finally) found a set of RX330 Non-AFS and want to get a lot of color out of them. I do have a set of replica TSX clear lenses that I was planning on throwing in them.

I used the same spring compressors from Autozone. Grabbing two coils on each side and compressing them as much as I could seemed to work well. Just be slow with that nut. There will be a little bit of pressure left, but not enough to be concerned with.

On a side note, after settling a little bit last night, my rubbing issue seems to be gone. Still need to wait a few days before I get it in for an alignment.

Anyone have an issue with rubbing prior to their alignment? I seem to have a bit of a rubbing issue on the front passenger side if I crank my wheel all the way to the left. Stock wheels with RE92's..... and again no alignment just yet.

you can try other hid forums other than hid planet but the non-afs are a pain to track down. Mr. Luv had a whole setup for sale which would be all you need for the full retro. Send him a PM and be sure to tell him I sent you.

The lack of availability of the RX330 projectors is a pain. I've been looking for months.

Saw an older lady filling up her RX330 this morning at the gas station...... started to get bad ideas!

Has anyone tried the MDX projectors? Look very similar to the RX330 non-afs projectors. Just curious if they have similar dimensions.

I'm playing with the idea of modding out the H7 to see what it is capable of. I know it won't be able to achieve the wide output of say a RX330 bowl, but I'd like to sharpen up the cutoff and add some much needed color.

Here are my idea:

Clean lenses

#6 washer color mod

Block off squirrel finder

flat black cutoff shield

Another question:

I just got my AP today and can't wait to install tonight.

Do I update the firmware and the maps before i install on my car? One thing I read says to, and another says not to.

Also, does AP manager automatically update new maps or do I have to do that manually? I would assume if manually, I can delete the old maps.

Here is my next question....

The directions don't say too much about uninstalling the AP. I assume you don't have to go into test mode to uninstall, is that correct?

Does the AP contain a stock ECU map, or does it copy the map from your car's ECU and save it for uninstall purposes?

I know it contains a "stock" map to switch to on the fly.
