There are tools available and/or are coming soon. Autel makes a reasonably priced kit, it seems and I don't think they're the only ones.

The maxitire doesn't explicitly list Subaru as compatible, but the 501 says it will work for every vehicle released to date. It will be interesting to see how much it costs when it's available.

I'm guessing the ideal solution will become affordable for the average joe in the near future. In the meantime, there's a way to make it work.

On MY08, at least, that's correct. They come on at like 25mph or some such nonsense.
