Made a video update on the 2016 Legacy Limited 2.5i. My wife will not drive another Outback so I worked with what I had. Wheels are on the way but had the taller tires installed last month in 225/60/18. Along with the 2" lift I gained three inches of lift from stock overall. Here's a video and ask me any questions you like.

Just picked up this very loud horn set from SMY Performance and made a video of the installation. Remember things are reversed on the JDM cars so a few things have to be done that way on our Subarus. I've started to add SUbaru videos to my YT channel @828findadventure so go there and search Subaru. Thanks for watching.

Rockford: doesn't happen until I turn the key to the OFF position before taking the key out.
It's like a vent door returning to it's original position and then the noise stops. Like I said, this just started and sounds like a small electric motor struggling to close a vent door or something.

famaya26: Kind of but doesn't last that long. Could be a vent door struggling to be shut by a worn out motor or something. Shoot, it might just need lube..

Does not sound like a fan.
So here is how it happens. I turn the key off an he motor goes quite, but before pulling the key out of the ignition. I notice a struggling small motor sound, like something trying to close a vent. The AC is on at cut off, and on recirculate.
Is there a vent that closes automatically when you turn the car off and would make this noise?

There is a sound inside the what appears to be the center of the dash when I turn the car off and before I pull the key out.
Sounds like a vent struggling to close or something.
My AC is on and set to recirculate if that helps.

Sleepydave: looks good with those wheels.

The car would look good in all black. That would also be the easier to go that direction since all the gold stuff is plastic and easily removable for painting. The car would have a nice factory look paint job when done. Then get some 17,18" wheels to finish it off.

Nice pics. Thanks for your time.

Maybe he went over to the dark side and got a great deal on a Chevy.

Nice Red One. I love that color on mine.

What do you mean by the kit? What is the Kit?

Nice, lets see some pics.

Don't knock it until you try it. I recommend two washers on each bolt for a great sound you can live with.

Yeah for close to $1000. I paid $20 to Midas and $150 for the mufflers and it looks great.
I do like the bumper, but until I am rear ended and can upgrade, I am stuck with the stock bumper.

I got that from ROMMEL a poster on this site. I highly recommend him. The grill is top quality custom made and is very heavy duty. The paint matches perfect and is also top quality. I made the XT badge myself. He sold me mine for $250 shipped in September.

You will have to mod the hangers on the mufflers or try some longer hangers to lower the tips below the bumper. I installed 08 LGT mufflers on my OBXT. I had Midas bend the mufflers hangers to let the tips sit one inch below the bumper.
Note: I ordered XL rubber hangers and there is not enough room for them. Had to go the Midas route.

Forester Sport wheels fit great. Any questions?
