Good god, I must be really old. I figured if I could hear her scream from down the hall I would check on her. If I couldn't hear her, she was fine.
Good god, you must be really old
I'm moving from a 1 floor condo to a three floor house so I wanted to have the ability to keep an eye on them from the finished basement to the second floor.

I'm moving to a new place an looking into video baby monitors to keep an eye on my two year old and a soon to be fresh baby. Anybody ever use those four camera dvrs that get hardwired and have IP capability? Looking at that as an option rather than the wireless baby specific monitors that almost never work.

Currently out of work and no car, old lady is at work all day and I'm home all day with my 2yo. He is driving me crazy!!!! Thank god for nick jr.
Playground nearby? Let him burn off some energy.

Show me where I ever mentioned flashing a firearm at young boys and that I would do it. All I ever said is the boy can fear me for all I care.
I don't think I would want to date your daughter because you sound like a douche. So you got that going for you.

Am I the only father of a daughter who doesnt take the macho approach?
it just seems silly and cliche to me. Just my humble opinion
I have seen it both ways, My father took the macho approach with my sister and she snuck around behind his back with guys. My father-In law took the laid back approach with my sister in law and she was having sleep overs with guys at 16 in his house.
There has to be some happy medium there.

I'm talking about a rear facing seat for a larger child, not an infant carrier. And if you used the latch system while the base was in the middle you didn't read the instructions.
-
Tried to test fit a car seat in my LGT yesterday. Not even close to fitting behind my seat. Part out thread coming soon.
I found the only way to get it in the car was behind the passenger seat and you can't utilize the LATCH system if you put it in the middle. Also the frameless windows/rear door design make it hard as hell to take the child in and out of a rear facing seat.
But other than that the LGT is awesome.

Ohh I rikey this thread.
I'm a father of a beautiful and health 21 month old daughter Her mom and I still live together but have no plans to get married or work things out... been there tried that.
I'm dreading the day I decide to move out... and then the day I move out. Will be hard not to see my daughter every day.
hope I never have to make a decision like that

For those with babies not making it through the night yet, taking shifts and sleeping in the baby's room so the person who was "off duty" could actually hit REM probably saved my marriage. Just throwing that out there.
This times a million. We didn't sleep in the babies room but when we both woke up, the "on duty" parent would bring the baby in the other room to feed/change/etc. and allow the "off duty" parent to go back to sleep.

My 18 month old daughter calls me daddy and my wife daddy. She only calls my wife mommy when i yell at her for something. It drives my wife nuts.
Its obviously something she will grow out of so I think its hilarious.

jsmith-what was the cause of the valve problem?
brock-1st check the code. I have tried the injector from rockauto, its a beck arnley unit. seems to work fine. ebay has some as well.
They attributed my valve issues to not running premium fuel, but were astounded that I had all my gas receipts and could prove that i was using premium. Then they changed their story and said exxon specifically. I filled up for a year at hess (had a gas card) and then Wawa after that almost religiously, not sure if either of them are subs of exxon.

dealer seems way high, even for worst scenario. Cant you just go buy a long block for 7k? They quoted me just under 2k when they did my #4 valve and SOA ate it. And i had 90k miles on mine.
-
Call SOA, explain problem, get some goodwill money. But for that to happen you probably have to have the work done at a dealership.
-
Not sure if this was brought up already but 4th gen LGT spotted in a six flags great adventure commercial... with a giraffe

Great, my wife just brought one of those home. Angelcare right? How far away is the monitor from the base?
