QSM GT '08/09 I think in East Hampton on Old Stone Highway.. think he waved, I didn't because I'm always caught by surprise when it's not some 90 year old man.
-
Im out in Bridgehampton almost everyday but I have an 08 QSM LGT.......and have not been spoted out here yet
I think I saw you yesterday as I was heading down to Moriches, was early probably 7:30ish. Also saw a blue '05 STi, I think.
-
It was right near where King Cullen and K-Mart are.
A guy I work with has a black 2.5i, but we work out in Montauk and I live in East Hampton. I'm rarely down the island that far because F going to Riverhead or further for anything I don't absolutely have to.
edit: also I think I may have seen you once, I can't remember. I've only been here for like two weeks so... yeah

Saw a dirty 05+ GRP LGT out by Bridgehampton today. Looked stock, but didn't really get a clear look/hear anything

I'm in Charlotte for the evening and I must say my Legacy loves the cold air. Nice town.
-
there are a few of us around the tampa bay area
-
Rad. Keep up the good work.

I've been seeing 2010 Legacies in the St. Pete area a lot. And by a lot I mean I saw 3 in as many weeks. That's more than I saw for the first 6 months I was here!
-
who did I see in the GRP Sedan last night on 275 headed toward toward Bradenton through St. Pete?
-
Finally back in St. Pete and will (hopefully) not have to live out of my car/a hotel for much longer. Incidentally, any place I can get an oil change that won't rob me/break my LGT? I think my place of work would frown on me doing it in the parking lot.
-
I am in St. Pete now. Last night on I75 just before the I275 before Tampa split I played leap frog a bit with a DGM or QSM sedan last night. Exchanged waves and exhaust notes. Sounded good. Too bad about the crack in your windshield.
-
I'll be in St. Pete sometime after the 4th, but I will probably have to travel for work shortly afterward and may not be back in town until late August.
-
I drove through Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina and didn't see a single LGT. Saw a few WRXs/STis though.
-
Do you guys visit any other MN car forums? There are a few weekly meets and also spring opener subary meet coming up.
If you're up in Duluth for some reason, check out D-SCE.com. Usually something going on toward the end of the week, regular meets on Tuesdays. As has already been mentioned, MNSC and MNSOC, though we don't see too many people from either group up here, plus MNSC apparently had some drama with D-SCE a while back.

well, they know how to buy a nice car, anyway. as far as boogying the only thing they're boogying toward is a traffic obstruction ticket
-
Black LGT parked in Canal Park with MN plates up here in Duluth on Saturday night. Not like it was any of you guys. It's either old ladies driving a 2.5i, or old men driving the LGT around here. Usually 10-15 under the speed limit.

Not anymore. It was 65 degrees at my house the other day. It's motivating me to chase down the additional boost leak I've developed. Plastic manifold/throttle body http://www.atomic-dog.org/cam/emoticons/emot-argh.gif

Nice! Hope to see you around. I'm in Dunedin/Clearwater.
Excellent. Probably will be between St. Pete and Clearwater a lot for work purposes. Are there a lot of Subie enthusiasts around?
-
Can I put my name on the list? I'm moving to St. Pete in June or July.
-
Otherwise, first autocross is where all the "cool" LGTers in MN will be.
False. We're all in Duluth.

Enough to mean that Christmas is canceled for anyone in my family that isn't me. I have so much work to do

SPT sucks air from the front of the engine bay, not the back. I am stage 1 with avo panel filter, you really can only hear more engine/turbo noises when you drive with the windows up and radio off (hasn't happened for me in months). I do have the silencer in, maybe removing that lets you hear more feedback in all driving conditions (windows down, etc.)
The sound will definitely change if you pull that silencer out. It's much more apparent. Especially spool up. I can't speak to BOV operation, as I'm running a GFB.
-
Personally, I'm going with an AVO dry panel filter. Supposedly gives you the benefit of a louder intake noise (which I like for rev-matching and engine feel purposes) with maybe a slight decrease in air-flow resistance in the stock intake. Plus it's reusuable and cheap.
It definitely gives you more sound. I attribute most of my car's "spaceship" sound to the AVO drop-in I have.

Yeah, some of you sedans should show up to the autox's. Or maybe they are afraid of the wagons better weight distribution and don't want to get beat;). I am going to the next Amery airport speed run, anyone else going to that? Should be fun to see how fast stg2 is without fear of tickets.
I'm more scared of what happens when you do this equation: 18% Tint + Stage 2 (with Magnaflow CBE) + Minnesota State Patrol. Two hours on the road is a long time, and leaves me with a good chance of encountering the state patrol at several points on my way.
