Did anyone ever follow up from the post earlier in the thread saying that the impreza aero seemed to fit with some mods? I think I about got the last set of OEM bars in the country a couple weeks ago from a dealer in Maryland. They are loud and I am wondering if it would be worth the effort to look at the impreza bars again?

Haha, the mod bug bites hard. I am thinking of getting another legacy wagon. Probably NA this time as I don't know if I could justify the mileage hit + the price of premium after driving a TDI for throat two years. Hope you continue to enjoy the car!

I was able to search on the classifieds for a while on both this board and NASIOC, I got an 06 flywheel for $60 and a brand new 07 LGT clutch for $250. And yes, you can use the 07-09 LGT clutch on your car with a single mass flywheel.

Doesn't make much sense to me to wax then rub with alcohol. The alcohol would just strip the wax you just put on. My suggestion would be to wash the car with a non scented/ additive dish soap, then rub down with the alcohol. That would ensure that your car is as clean as it could be.

lucas569- it sounds like you have had the gruppe s flywheel in your car for a while now, do you have any issues with chatter etc?

Side windows are fine, the back is the real pain. Shrink the back on the outside before attempting to put it on the inside. Just take your time and make sure you aren't kicking up a lot of dust and it will look good. I personally like using the pre-cut kits, but that is just because I am too lazy to want to cut it myself.

What kind of noise is the spring making? I have been looking at trying to pick up a set of cobb's, but have heard a few people complain of them making noise on bilstein's.

Blue GT, I believe I just saw progress springs still for sale on their website.
Flat4, look into rallitek springs, they were designed with people like you in mind.

Everyone looking for cobb springs, do a google search "cobb springs legacy 05". There are multiple companies that appear to still have sets of the springs in stock, ready for shipping.
