I have a 2001 outbck sw. its like new as I bought it new and planned to have it as my last car. This last weekend someone broke the rear hatch glass and rifled around and got little. But the issue is that the glass is not available. Not from junk yards nor from the dealer. So I'm looking for one. Not sure how to get it to calif but will worry about that if one is found. I just cant believe this situation. Thanks for looking if you can.

Yea, I should have sent a post that I had found the issue. The info I got or found was all wrong. The first reason was that I called the Subaru dealer and they told me the drier was in the condenser. Never trust these know nothings. After looking further and seeing folks doing stuff on their condensers on youtube I was ticked. Then after I posted my issue I called a big parts store here and asked. They said it was a canister . So I went through all that for junk info. I have it now. Thanks all for the help.

I'm replacing my ac comp in my 2001 outback, std model. What I seem to have gotten confused about is the reciever drier. I'm told it's part of the condenser. What insanity is that ? Any enlightenment would be appreciated.

Most likely boot if it went away after a bit. Have had that happen twice. just happened less than a week ago.

A few months ago I did a new mod on my 2001obs. I replaced the brake pads and front rotors for the first time ! Also put in a new radiator as the original finally cracked at the top tank. All easy as all get out. Ok, well that's mods to me !

When said in german it refers to a wet stinky wagon of manure.

Looks like me without my glasses. But that smell is probably me doing it in my pants for real.

don't those things put drag on the cars thus ruining the gas mileage ?

that lady was not in wal mart. but if one is dressed oddly or funny at wal mart, sure, its a good laugh. but the comments on the lady went far past that thus my response.

again, do you all know her story ? if you put it here then expect a response. as to assuming she is just fat on and on is not what one should be laughing about.
again, i deal with disabled people and the city here making life easier for all. one of the first things i found was that first impressions were more than likely wrong. also take this as a piece of well intended advice. if you live long enough, you will be disabled.
my life went from walking to a wheelchair in a split second. yours can also.
I think the irony has nothing to do with the fact that she may or may not truly be disabled, it was more "obese and eating at Burger King". Could she be making better choices in her life that may assist her in being less "disabled" by her size? Yes. She's not walking to get exercise, she's obese, and she's going thru a drive thru in her motorize lazy chair at a fast food restaurant. My guess is that the majority of her disability has directly to do with her obesity. So much wrong. God Bless Merica!!! -
most likely there is much more to that story. there are many conditions and limits that are in play. cost limits are a big part of that. for sure i can guarantee that the business did not get ordered to put a lift in out of the blue. i suspect they did a very big upgrade and did not meet ada codes. i have not had or found any proof of a business that went out of business just because of a lawsuit. i suspect they might have been in trouble business wise already.
A restaurant in my city just had to close it's doors because of an ada case. They had no lift to get people from the upper floor to the lower banquet hall. They were ordered to install a lift.... cost was hundreds of thousands. Family owned business, been open since 1974. Now no one gets to enjoy their food. Yay justice! -
as a paraplegic and one who deals with disabled issues including access i would say there is most likely more to this story. i noticed in one pic that the sidewalk has no cutout. thus it is illegal under ada laws. makes me wonder what else this lady has to deal with. but to laugh at her or to make fun of others only demeans you, no one else.
and
No, I was reading Jalopnik and recognized the Ice Cream sign in the background. Who ever took them wasn't bashful. Here is what I could find on the net, seemed like there might of been another one or two.
I am so proud of her to maintain her independence.

wonder if that guy will still be laughing when he finds out how much those bags are going to cost him.

when i first moved to live here, i was told to not ever pull off the pavement after some good rains. they said my truck would just sink to its axles. i never did but saw many others that did and sure nuff, sunk in to the axles.

these should not be called bugs. its an insult to the real ones.
Yet another reason to hate Bug owners. The only thing worse than the flower wheels are the teddy bear wheels. -

I can't figure out why they just don't lower the road a bit so the clearance meets current standards.

I used to work on those. test driving was a blast

good way to get your car messed up.
If I was parking there, I'd squeeze my Miata between the vet and Lumina.
