A pic after my first hand wash of the Spring Season..
Very nice!. I'm itching to clay and wax my car. I'm going to do it after my first oil change.
I purchased a news front license plate bracket and new mud guards. Those will be installed after the car is waxed.
Can someone tell me where to get the carbon fiber hood scoop? Those look really nice, but I'm sure they are expensive.
Thank you,
Pete

heres mine!! just got 08 SPT intake and SPT catback exhaust system:)
Hello, like you, this is my first Subaru too. I just approached 2,500 miles and so far so good.
Now do these modifications make a big difference in power? Is the exhaust louder then stock?
Thanks,
Pete

Just a few pics after a much needed wash...
These cars look SHARP after they are cleaned, and I'm a fanatic when it comes to my vehicles. Once the spring hits, I will be claying and waxing my car..its a huge stress reliever for me, and I LOVE doing it!

Hmm, I guess I shouldn't have quoted YOU...
You are VERY attractive if that is your avatar picture. And if you have the personality to match then you would be the complete package..

Here are a couple more pics, stock ride height. Yep 17's. I am running Rota Tarmac III's in the summer and stock rims in the spring and fall.
If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for those rims? And what kid of tires are you using?
Thank you,
Pete

*Panel filter ~$50: improves mid-range power slightly, sharper throttle response.
*Rear sway bar ~ $200: makes the car much easier to rotate, reduces body roll.
Those would be the first low buck mods I'd go with.
After that, replacing your stock RE-92 tires is a MUST. Virtually *any* performance/all-season performance tire will be better. You could upgrade the tires to something better (and get better handling/braking) for ~$500-600.
Once your tires and suspension are set, an Access Port is the best "bang for the buck" power mod, as it allows you to reflash your car's ECU to match any hardware mods you might make (better flowing downpipe, cat-back exhaust, intake).
You can improve braking a lot with more aggressive pads like Hawk HPS or Bobcats. Pair it with some stainless steel brake lines and the brake "feel" will be much better. Again, start with the tires, as they are the car's weakest point.

You should always wait 12 hours between sealing and wax, otherwise the seal doesn't cure properly.
You must have done the Zaino wax treatment. I did the same thing to my GMC Sierra when I first picked it up.
Zaino products are second to none! I'm going to do the same to my Subaru when it comes in.
Nice car!

I think there's only about 4 of us on the entire site with them.
Where in CT are you from? I just moved to Concord, NH from Cheshire, CT.

Very nice car.
I just ordered an 08 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT 5 speed in Quartz Silver Metallic. I really like this color and those wheels look awesome on your car.
So, I'm wondering what low buck mods you can do to these cars. this will be my first Subaru so any information will me much appreciated.
Thank you,
Pete
