  1. The LGT suspension is harsh. WAY too much high speed compression damping, too little low speed compression damping and too little rebound damping. Springs are a little soft but not terrible. With the right dampers the springs would be way too soft.
  2. That's why I always choose US sellers with product located in the US. Paid Sunday, had it Thursday. Cost a few dollars more but worth it to me.
  3. Edit again, I'm a F***ing idiot. I was trying to load the ECU definitions as logger definitions.
  4. Just got my ebay VAGCOM last night and everything works now!
  5. I'll ask the same question I asked in mvigneau's thread. Since this taps into the CD changer cable, is it going to split the voltage of my aux input an cause a low audio? This was the problem I had with the Jazzy board unless I left the cable disconnected from the CD changer.
  6. Removed mine while the intake was off for the infamous fuel odor. Perfectly clean at 84,000 miles.
  7. If this can replace the ET clock (the one that counts drive cycle time) I'd be all over it. I actually use the other displays.
  8. Here is a diagram of how I did it. The map lights are still fully independent (map lights do not turn on dome light), and they come on when I turn the dome light on with the override switch. As noted in the first post, I had to reverse the wires in the map light connector. Note how the diagram calls out the "correct" (after reverseing them) wire locations. http://www.freebmw.net/yamarocket630/NABISCO/LGT/1.jpg
  9. I installed mine this weekend and it works, but there is one slight issue. When I have my sirius plug'n'play receiver on the cradle, the cd volume is about 8-10 steps lower than normal, even with the sirius turned off. If I remove the sirius tuner from the cradle or unplug the aux cable, the volume returns to normal. The sirius volume is also the same 8-10 steps lower than the radio any time I'm using it. Is this a problem with the board or just the nature of the beast? For comparison's sake, in my last Subaru (1990 Legacy) and my Dodge truck, both with the same JVC HU; I had the keep the line in volume for the sirius about 3-4 steps higher on a 0-60 scale.
