Just spotted... SWP Sedan on Rt 7 N Norwalk/Wilton border in front of the shell station by Walmart. Tinted tails, windows?, ...ect?
Your passenger in the backseat pointed out the obvious... that I have green wheels.
Wish I had noticed you a half second earlier... I would have cruised with you for a bit and gotten gas later
-
blue one was me... just about to post about you haha
Only got a quick glimpse but it looked good. Were you at wicked? I was just stopping in to say hi there
-
Saw two today... A SWP sedan on Rt 7 in Norwalk by Daltons Deli around 10:30 this morning. Did I see an exhaust?
Then this evening a blue sedan in Kingston Ri by wicked innovations. Gave the wave you waved back. Had mesh grille and exhaust.

Silver LGT Wagon tonight about 5:20PM in Wickford, RI - CT Plates ? I tought this was Davon at first, but no green rims and no turbo sticker on the left side quarter glass. I waved but may be too late. Car looks lowered, some tint in the back. Nice ride !
Im actually back in CT for now. All the way down in Wilton. But my GF is in Wakefield so I have been back up a couple times... but yea my car is pretty noticeable. Surprising I haven't really been spotted.
-
Saw two LGTs on Saturday afternoon on my way up to RI. The first was going over the New London Bridge Northbound around 3ish??? was silver or grey and had a few people in the car. Saw another Black on on RT 1 S around Westerly a little bit latter. Gave both of you the wave.
I have the silver wagon with green wheels, so pretty noticeable if you spotted me
-
I don't think so, would have spotted another BP. There are few other RBP LGT BPs in the area, they're not on this forum though.
Was worth checking... a blue lgt wagon popped in right behind me so thought it might be you...
always nice to see another LGT in the rear veiw... they just look soo good.
-
SubOperator was that you behind me on 95 S this evening?
-
Navy 2.5i Sedan with Rally Armor Flaps, just about an hour ago (1:30) on 95N heading into providence... I think you had ct plates
-
NP, glad I could warn you about the light. The exhaust is not that loud imo, do you think it may be a problem ?
Your right it really isnt too bad when your just cruising or at idle, its when you open her up... I don't think it will be too much of an issue though, if they were gonna pull me over for it they would have already done it.
Cant wait for it to be spring, get my summers on. And hopefully Ill be around for a "Wall" meet or two.
-
Here are some shots of my set up. Has the box on there right now... but usually has surf pads and a bike rack in the summer... although thinking about leaving the box up there this summer to put my kite gear in.

Even though Yakima claims their Railgrab fits Legacy wagons, I don't believe they did their research properly.
Take a look at the pics I posted a while ago regarding this:
http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2468455&postcount=55
When I had called them with this problem, I spoke to a Chris Adams who works at Yakima. He told me they were unaware of the problem, or even that the Legacy wagon and Outback wagon had different roof rails. My guess is that they assumed the Legacy wagon had the same raised rails and designed the Railgrab according to that.
I sent Yakima those very same pictures and never received a response. I pinged him after a couple of weeks had passed and he said that he had passed the message on to the engineers at Yakima. He told me to return the Railgrab back to Agees and get my money back. To this date, I've not heard or seen any changes made to their system that would correct the problem.
Side note: Foresters of the same vintage have similar low profile rails, BUT seem to have a different roof line profile, which might not cause the same problem.
The Railgrab is a newer foot system for yakima. It replace the lowrider and the EZ rider.
The EZ rider is the best foot system for the LGT Wagons, but unfortunately they dont make it anymore. You might be able to find it somewhere though if you looks.
Ill try and remeber to get some shots of my rack set up, as I am running the EZ Rider

On the topic of roof racks... more specifically cargo boxes on wagons... I was able to come up with a solution to fit my older Thule Evolution 1200 on top with almost no hatch interference.
Basically what I did was set up the bars (Running the yakima EZ rider set up) as far forward as possible and locked down the front bar, left the rear one loose so I could move it. Put the box up there and positioned the rear bar.
-Set up like this there is some major interference with the hatch spoiler and the box.
Then I grabbed a shim kinda thing (came off of the Thule Spare me - it is the spacer to make sure the rack has good contact with the spare tire on a jeep) and positioned those on the rear bar underneath the box mounts. With the older Thule quick snap style hardware it works fine, don't know about any other style though.
-This raising of the back of the box allows the hatch to opening completely, with the spoiler resting on the box with the hatch at full extension. I put a couple of foam peices to protect the spoiler.
Ill try and get some close up shots soon and post them up here.
Here is the link to the part/shim I used (it is Part I "rubber Spacers") there is a chance that your local thule dealer might have it
http://thule.com/en/US/Products/BikeCarriers/SpareTire/963XT%20Spare%20Me.aspx?view=SpareParts
Also if you have any other rack questions, I am pretty experienced in dealing with Thule and Yakima rack from working at a bike shop for the last few years.

Saw demo243 at the light before the round-about in Narragansett, about 4PM today. You took to the right from the round-about, I turned left towards Narragansett beach. I was in wife's DGM Tribeca.
demo, your right side stop light is out.
Thanks for the heads up
Edit: $7 and 10 minutes... All fixed. Now I only have to worry about getting pulled over for my exhaust...

My wagon was so dirty that morning I had to find a carwash in MA out of shame.. What do you study at URI ? I did my MS there.
Huh, navy must hide the dirt... that or was going to fast to see.
I am studying business, entrepreneur management more specifically, and if all goes well and I don't fail anything Ill be graduating in may and entering the real world.

Spotted another one this morning in the same spot... 95N just before the split with 195 on the way into Prov. another dark legacy only this time a sedan with dark tints, yellow fogs, and cans?
-
I guess that was me going to school in Newton MA with my older son. Nice looking wagon of yours ! Liked the OEM+ sticker on the side What CBE do you have ?
Wow I actually found someone on here! Yea that was me. Got that sticker from ihatestickers.com I laughed when I saw it and had to put it on. Your wagon looks good, nice and clean... unlike my dirty one. I am running the Greddy Evo2 catback... the sedan version so the tips are tucked... its loud but I love it. I was on my way up to the cape to go kiting... made my morning to find another LGT wagon.
Your from Richmond? Thats pretty close to me. I am in Narragansett at URI.
-
Morning of the 19th Navy LGT Wagon, looked like you had wheels (dark gunmetal) on 95N going into Prov RI.
I was in the Silver wagon with the box
