  1. Guess I'll do a bump as well.

6906 came back from Smith finally. I'll be nice and just have small clickable pics.

Hated those sights and was able to track down a Novac slide vs that whole machining new ones to fit route.

  2. Leather, when I had the 07 Shrek seats I would lose small bits when someone spilled on it. When I traded them for LTD leather the leathers had kid and tire hauling marks that I was able to clean w/o ruining the leather. Only downfall is the drivers seat looks like crap from years of driver use; rest of the seats look time capsule new.

I also 2nd car seat covers when the kids are in. My Accord Sport is split black leather/cloth and when I have the kids they are covered. No kids the seats can breathe.

  3. I believe I need an AK as well. Just debating on what price range I want it at.

Since the last time, I sold the 938 since it went back 2 times and i still couldn't make it though a mag. I also got

    Smith & Wesson 4566 TSW

    Smith & Wesson 5903 TSW

    Smith & Wesson 6906 CPD

    Taurus M605B2

    Ruger SR22

    IMI UZI Pistol

I was looking at the Shockwave but Ohio law had a few glitches in the rewording. I think for Ohio, I could go though the Sheriff for it but I'll wait and see if I can save that $50 if they re do the law. I also had my eye on a West Virginia State Police 4566 but I kept getting out bid for it. I would cut bid like $780 and it would end at like $1500 or so.

  4. Dicks don't even sell hunting clothing anymore so the only rods you will find is up their....

On a positive note I found a 469 and ditched the horrible pebble sand grips for gen 3 curved ones.

I also may have acquired one of these for temp pocket carry while the 938 is off still.

  5. Va or W Va? Only 4??? I am 5'8" and 145lb. I can carry at least 10 without showing a print, LOFL.

If I can carry an AR pistol with a 50rd drum mag does it really matter that I only have 4?

The ridiculousness of only 4 at one time. Ludicrous as common sense laws.

    Now it "magically" works again....

Yes, Commonwealth of VA. At times I may have 2 at most but more than 2 is an outdoor range trip and I didn't feel like having a bunch of cases plus ammo.

  6. Virginia is more free than Maryland.

Maryland is semi free. They have gun control laws but a lot of them are smoke and mirrors. You need a license to purchase hand guns and they have an approved roster. AR Pistols are mostly illegal to buy, but you can build. NFA Items are approved.

Magazine capacity is 10 rounds, but it is legal to own 30 round mags if you purchase them out of state. That’s a silly law because no matter where you live in Maryland, you’re within an hour drive of Pennsylvania, Delaware, West Virginia or Virginia where you can buy 30 round magazines.

Virginia on the other hand, there are no restrictions. If you want your CCW, you’ll get it. You’d have to ask someone who lives there how long it takes, but they give it to you.

Now if you really want freedom, move to that little part of West Virginia where it meets MD and Northern Virginia. A 4 BR house will cost you 120 grand, it’s a 45 minute drive to DC and it’s constitutional carry concealed or open. That and you can walk around with a loaded AR if you really wanted.

Pennsylvania on the other hand, $20 and 10 minutes of my time at the police station got me a CCW.

Regardless of where you move, the first thing you need to do is buy a suppressor.

Damn site won't let me just use the quote button again.

Either way Va has the limit of 4 guns on your person at 1 time for CHL.

  7. I did 2 things..... I finally got rid of the plastic sights on the Glock 17. Went Trijicon HD XR. After going to the range to try and fine tune it I made another stop. Ended up walking out of the New Gander in the old Gander building with a S&W 669. Always loved the 6906 and 4505 and even those were hard to find on purpose once they left the local cops use.

The condition of the gun and box screams it was a safe queen. Besides the grips the only visible evidence of mods is the trigger guard. looks like it had a light or laser attached to it.

And just like that I no longer have it. Had issues and SWT didn't want to tackle them. The shop started milling parts of the slide to fix the issue where the hammer won't fall on the firing pin. End of the day they did more harm than good to the thing. 938 also in preparation to be sent off as it doen't like to keep magazines inside the gun when firing it. Part of the reason I haven't had the energy to work on the LGT, everything I touch breaks lately.

  9. I see quote is still broken....

I’m now officially a resident of Pennsylvania and now most of my firearms reside where they are legal. Once I got my official change of residence, my first move was ordering a suppressor and filling out the paperwork. It will now be in purgatory til god knows when.

    LOL welcome back to America.

  10. Yes. In the gen5, they changed the 17 to have the 19 lug setup.

So far so good. Did 150rnds of FMJ through each gun. 50 rounds of JHP. Then I did 50 rounds each suppressed. No issues. I just wish the 19X had the Ameriglo night sights. I’m going to stick suppressor height sights on it eventually.

I’m still waiting on my P365 so I can compare it to the Glock 43.

Point blank mentor has one in rental case. That's how I took pic and shot it a page back. Feels extremely cheap compared to the other Sigs but it still shoots good.

Call me weird but the legion series doesn't appeal to me at all, it is nicely equipped but I feel like it's gaudy. I shot a 229 legion and in comparison with my 229 Nitron compact I don't think it shoots that much better and I don't feel like it's equipped with anything that I would want over aftermarket upgrades nor are they upgrades that I feel like I would need to do immediately.

as for the shooting, I keep saying he didn't kill anyone because he had a glock

Haven't come across the other ones and didn't intend on modifying it like I did my Glock. Polishing parts is most of what I did on top of the connector. Firing the 19X yesterday I realized my Gen 3 felt better after polishing it and the connector swap.
  11. IMG_5126.jpg

Threaded barrel that I use in the gen4 19 should fit both these guns.

The 19 barrel lugs stayed the same and they only changed the 17's right? Every time I see the 19X and those sights I keep saying I'll get them next paycheck.

Funny thing is I figured out what was wrong with my P80 build. The tolerance with the trigger housing and the cruciform was huge enough it would fail a drop test or literately just fire off 3 rounds in 1 pull and stop simply because after 3 shots it fails to reset like a 3 round burst cam.

I also learned this is not a great shotgun add on...

I kinda like sigs, just none of the cheaper ones. I tried out the 365 and it was ok. It felt like a well built HiPoint being so top heavy but that weight made it shoot better.

The one I keep circling around is this guy here....

As for that last shooting, it's painful to hear people say stuff like "at least the Glock wasn't a semi auto...."

  12. ...Anyone else fall out of their chair seeing the pic of the female protester with the anti NRA poster wearing the Molon labe sweatshirt??? Damn snowflakes dont even know what they are protesting for...

LOL yes, very painful. Like protesting the release of a pedophile while wearing a pedobear shirt.

  13. Ok, I admit to loading the mag. Lol. But the shop did include the 50 round box of Winchester hollow point with the gun. Even more nice of them.

Oh, and due to state law I had to purchase my umpteenth cable lock for $5 too. No pic, just rant.

Guns come w/o locks? You have to have the gun and lock in same transaction, can't just be like "here is one in my hand I walked in with"?
