it was a vag-com cable i bought off ebay.... but i don't have the software to work with WIN 7. I'll try the XP mode and let u'll know if that works....

hi, i recently got windows 7 but my elm cable software doesn't want to work. is there an upgrade to the software for win 7?

I made the same mistake as you. File a dispute with your credit card company or PayPal (depending on how you paid). You'll never actually see the cable from them.

 

For some reason Autnostics just stopped giving a shit at the beginning of this year, and several memebers, including myself bought the cable directly from their website and never received it. Even after numerous phone calls and e-mails to the company.

 

I got my money back from PayPal, and I would suggest you do the same. Then go on eBay and buy the cable there.

does anyone have a contact for Autonostics? I purchased my cable about a month ago and I got no shipping confirmation and can't get any support from them via e-mail.
