Just flunked my inspection...leaky exhaust and I'm only Stage 1. Oh well, looks like I'll go back to stock and leave it.

Well, I'm 47 and I use Stage 1. Never to old for a little sound. At least try Stage .5. Try only using a washer on the bottom bolt of each muffler.

I wish I could find the correct washer size in this thread again, I forgot to write it down. lol.
No correct size. Some have used 3/8's.

After a couple of modifications, months ago I got my Hawgzaust just right.
I'm curious what the modifications were. I'm currently at stage 1....

N00b.
What does that stand for?????

Whew! After reading all 576 posts (over the course of a week or so), I'm convinced. I'm gonna have to try this HogZawst.
Sure does take a lot for you to be convinced.

Na - it'll be a failure like most of my other threads...i think the majority of people that have done it has posted, because they are so surprised it sounds so good.
I bet there arent many who have done it, and not commented one way or another.
Alright, I understand. I was curious if Stg 1 was the most popular. I was thinking if we could see percentages of the overall stages. I'm thinking Stg1 or 1.5 are the most popular. Of course, I could be wrong...

Hogmeat,
Have you thought of maybe setting up a poll? What stage does everybody have? Maybe something like this:
Stg1
Stg1.5
Stg 2
STg2+
None
Once again, thanks for the mod.

NOT true...this entire tank was on the freeway cruising...
My indicator in the dash seems to think i'm getting 21mpg, but the tank indicator is at a half of a tank...with only 115miles...
It's not this mod. I filled up this morning and most of my drive is Interstate and I average around 28 this morning. I've been driving around town this afternoon and sure it's down to 25.1, but that's me listening to the purr of them leaks in "me" exhaust system.

It does sound nice. I ran across town today and I was happy to be in stop and go traffic around the University just so I could hear the rumble. I actually enjoyed puttering around town.

Did it last night but only used 1 washer and it has a nice tone between 2-3,000 RPM. One is all I need. I think it's a very good mod especially for the money. Anyone use Jedimaster's silencer removal mod and this mod together?
New Hog-zawst System!!! The sound of power! *with patented washer technology*

Really? I am at stage 1 and was always afraid that stage 2 would just sound way too loud and kind of cheesy. Well, I have to go to stage zero to pass inspection and maybe I'll give stage 2 a shot. Other's agree stage 2 sounds much better than 1?
