  1. Since the front end was completely trashed, the JDM STi front end I had sitting in boxes for over three years finally had a chance to go on, as well as a window lip spoiler :)

Love the front end! I think I still have the exact same bumper (but in SWP) sitting in a storage unit for the past 4+ years. I never got around to ordering a 2009 spec.B, so it's still in there... somewhere.

What was required for the bumper installation? Were the JDM headlights/fenders required?

  2. Decided to go with my first color choice of white (for the aspen white sti).

I just ordered a set of white wheels (18x8" Work XD-9) for my car too! Let's see how ricey it looks... I'm just competing with the body-kitted white Altima with white/polished lipped wheels that parks across from me at work.

Now I'll have a collection of Diamond Black (a.k.a. BBS hyperblack), silver, gold, and white wheels... I just need to get something black, gunmetal, and bronze and I'm done. :p

  3. What VTGT said. Your best bet is to drive it around for a few weeks, then get a baseline dyno run at a shop like GRuppe-S (~$75 for a 3 runs). Mike will tell you if it's worth extracting more power or not. In my case, he told me to save my money as my car was running pretty well on Cobb's standard 91 octane Stage 2 map.

I did get a ProTune on my Forester XT, which yielded ~10whp/15lb.ft. more than Cobb's standard Stage 2 map.
