Has anyone considered switching to an LED replacement? They have been making amazing progress with LED replacements in the last couple of years.

I'm not quite sure how you could do something like this and still have tail lights except for just removing the front parking light bulbs. But doing that might eliminate your front turn signals.

Well that certainly is one way to increase the noise level from your Legacy but I suspect it might only work short term.

I've been using the Osram Rallye 65w Ultra High Output H7 Special-Service Bulbs since September 2009 without noticing any ill effects. I need to looking into buying a new set for my wife's Hyundai Sonata.

You want the 100% Independent Fog Light Mod (NO WIRE CUTTING/SPLICING).

Beautiful!!! Almost too nice to put into an exhaust system. I suspect that piece raises the cost of this mod a bit.

Have you considered an impact wrench?

Although LEDs can be very bright the current technology does not project light far enough forward to replace halogen bulbs or hid capsules for high beams or long range driving lights. The best usage for LEDs at this time appears to be for fog lights.

May be if enough people request it MadDad will offer at least an Axleback for the Legacy 2.5 GT.

Since they both are flat six cylinder boxer engines, it's logical that it should sound like a Porsche. Just so long as it doesn't sound like an air cooled Porsche 6 cylinder from the '60s.

But it still works great on a motorcycle with carbs. I love to do it in the Holland Tunnel, on Gooch's Garlic Run, when being followed by a group of Harley lifesavers with straight pipes. I don't know which gets their attention better, the big bang..... or the 3 feet of flame that shoots out the end of the exhaust.

I did the DRL disable on my '05 LGT wagon around Thanksgiving and have been using my wiper heaters practically every day for the past two weeks with no problem.

Spotted this morning at 9:05 am a GRP Legacy 2.5 GT Wagon with DRL delete turning North on Goffle Rd by the Dunkin Doughnuts in Hawthorne, NJ. I was the OBP 2.5 GT Wagon :wub: with DRL delete going the other way to turn onto RT-208 North.

If you ground the DRLs through the Fog Lights when you turn on the Fog Lights the DRLs would lose ground and turn off. I did this on my motorcycle with my side marker lights and turn signals. Unfortunately modern car wiring with CAN data buss can make this much more difficult to do.

You should write a letter to Dan Cohen, General Sales Mgr and 'cc' Rick DeSilva, the owner of Liberty Subaru. If you keep it civil and explain why you have been disappointed with your recent service experiences I'm sure they will try to make it up to you. You will probably get a better response if you just sound very disappointed that Liberty let you down than if you sound angry that Liberty screwed up your ride. Sales are way down for car dealers so they don't want to do anything to allienate their current customer base. Just remember if you sound too pissed off they may figure that you are a lost cause rather than a customer they can make happy again.

RBP Legacy GT sedan (A/T) with NY plates coming into the Meadowlands Sports Complex from Paterson Plank Rd for the Giants game last night. It was driven by a blonde honey with what appeared to be her sugar daddy riding shotgun.

What we need here is some sort of attractive decal that members can stick on their window so we have a better idea when we spot a vehicle whether it belongs to a member.

So what is the correct size stainless washer I need to buy? What are you going to do with all those left over washers?
