  2. Spotted ROUAR over memorial day weekend, at his parents house in w.millbury... car was looking clean buddy.. hope you enjoi'd your weekend..

lol .. I was there for maybe a few hours ... it took me 45 minutes to get from east Millbury to west Millbury thanks to that hail storm

there were downed wires on Millbury Ave, flooding on Howe Ave, flooding on Elm St (under the rt 146 bridge), and flooding plus a fallen tree on Carlton Rd.

When I got to my parents' I touched hailstones for the first time in my life .. in that heat, I can only imagine how big they must have been an hour earlier..

  3. I paid 29$ for a stake here at the hotel and yesterday I paid 28$ for halibut and 20$ the first night for a burger and fries. Trust me none of it was any better than I can get in denver for at least 10-15$ cheaper a plate

Try asking the waitress to split a bill across cards, 50% of the time they'll moan and whine about it :spin:

Just got back from an annual trip to Michigan, every time our group split bills, the waitress happily did it ... amazed us every time. I had no clue that was a northeast thing.

Food was a lot cheaper too.

  4. ^^manch vegas eh? you out in nashua at all?

Only if you count work in Merrimack (and the rare shopping trip). I went to college in Worcester, graduated and got a job in Boston, who transferred me up to NH after a year. So my social life is mostly in Somerville and Worcester.

I'm in NH to work and sleep. Occasionally to watch cable TV. :p

  5. How many people hang out in Millbury? :spin: I'm not used to Millbury being a popular town.

From 1984-2006 I grew up in west Millbury. I do visit my parents' house every other weekend or so.

If you see a silver GT with NH plates in town (or anywhere in Worcester county), it is likely me.

FWIW that stupid mall has transformed the town, for the worse :(

Shaw School just isn't the same with giant buildings surrounding the baseball fields :(

  6. I've been out here in CT/MA for 3 days and I've never seen so many Subarus! I'm lucky to see 1 LGT a week in Milwaukee and here I see a few a day. New England really is Subaru Country!

I had the same reaction when I drove to Detroit this year. I had never seen so many domestic cars on the road! Everybody owned a Ford or Chevy! :spin:

If you have a chance, drive up to VT or NH. There are even more Subarus here.
