TAN LEATHER for BLACK CLOTH/LEATHER
I may end up buying 05 LGT Limited wagon with tan leather interior. I'm interested in swaping either for black cloth or black leather interior. This could be from a Legacy GT wagon or Outback 2.5i/XT wagon. I am in Boston area.
I have black cloth in an LGT sedan, is the wagon interior different? Sorry for my ignorance with the wagon, I am not familiar.

Damn man sorry to hear about that, good luck finding a replacement.

Understood, just saying you will have no problems if you end up going that route

Yeah socket is the way to go. I installed the Apexcone kit a few weeks back and drilling the caps is the way to go. The grommets they come with are the perfect size, make an air tight seal and will give you no issues.
If you are the least bit uncomfortable with that, use some sealant and you'll be good for sure. No issues for me...

If anyone has aftermarket front seats, I really need to buy a front passenger tan leather seat. Please.
Ruin a seat?

acooper5 is selling his car. if he can't sell it with the seats and mods, he will sell factory and part out, may want to contact him, i know his seats have the blue suede you are looking for.

If you are doing an HID install, why are you taking off all of this? It is not even close to necessary.
I would understand if you are clearing your headlights, but just to do HID's, remove the battery on the driver's side and the air filter box on the passenger side and you will be just fine.

Yeah I know what you mean, if somebody bites, I'll let you know...

Thanks for starting the thread, I will post...
I have a limited '05 LGT. I would like to swap out my cloth interior and some added cash of course for someone with the black leather interior. I am located in Northern Virginia (Arlington).

I've been very happy with the results of using Jazzy's board along with a little Belkin gizmo called the Auto Kit for iPod with Dock Connector. It combines a 12v charger with a little preamp and a 3.5mm audio out jack. I routed the audio cable into the center console and plug the Belkin into that 12v outlet. Works great, and getting volume matched to the radio has never been a problem.
Do you have some pics of how this looks?

EVERYBODY READ THIS:
WHEN YOU PUSH THE WIDE WHITE BAND BACK INTO THE RADIO, ******* PUSH IT HARD AND FIRMLY UNTIL IT CLICKS OR IS OTHERWISE CLEARLY AND DEFINITELY STRAIGHT IN AND FACING THE RIGHT WAY.
90% of the recent posts I've read list symptoms that indicate that this is the problem. Yes it sucks removing the radio again and opening it up again, but if you did it right the first time, you wouldn't have to do it this time.
PS: I hope you newbs aren't manually searching this thread instead of using the THREAD SEARCH FEATURE above the first post on each page (above the "report" button) to search for shit.....not that hard.
I tried using both search features, this thread is just so damn long. Thanks for the response, but one question. When you say wide white band back into the radio...are you referring to the ribbon or the wiring harness? I'm sure you mean the ribbon, just clarifying.
Also, if that is the problem, why would my cd changer be working and not the jazzy board since the cd changer is connected through the jazzy board?

Ok so I know this is my 3rd post in a row on this thread, but I decided I couldn't wait to install so I took a couple hours after lunch at work to install with a co-worker.
Very simple install with a coupe problems that couldn't be fixed, just like any other first install.
However, once I got all wires run and everything put back together. Turned everything on to test it and my right speakers are not working. I tried to search the thread but it's tough to find anything on a thread this long.
My first guess would be something came loose, any other problem that could be occurring resulting in only the right side of my car to not be getting a signal?
All speakers are functional using other sources, problem is only present with the jazzy board. Help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looks like after lots and lots of reading I have to splice into power wire to take advantage of the charging option, am I correct in that statement?
-
Jazzy,
Got my board last night and want to install this afternoon. In looking at the install, it all seems very simple except for the power wire coming from the ipod cable....I understand you ground the black wire, but where are people tapping into the cd player to get power for the ipod charger? (It's the red wire that comes with the pro kit)...

What is so illegal about removing the reflector? I've never heard that...is that just in some states or nationwide?
-
So what bulbs did you go with?
-
You guys are killing me....You clear your headlights and then leave the plain orange bulb in...what's the point?
