No idea, the bumper came with the sensors already I'd like to figure out how to make them functional

i read and know wat IPT consist of but i need to retune my car aft all the mods r done up...david cant promise when his production is running for 08 VB so i hv to do with IPT 1st (i can sell away my IPT VB in singapore easily too for a decent price)
oh well, aft running in my car i will do a retune to see wat figures i can get (looking at 420whp) tats why i hope IPT VB can take it. if cant, i will let u bros here know abt it and hope david's 08 VB is in production soon
My ipt vb was failing at 430whp. Good luck seems their quality is hit and miss

I've never seen my ATF light come on even when my trans failed. However I got the joyful flashing cruise and sport light and it allowed only 1-3rd

it would be amusing to see how much a stock 5eat can handle power wise while in gear....just for shits and more shits.
Mine failed at 400whp with an "IPT" modded vb and trans cooler

With the hexmod f1 shifting WOT at nearly 500whp doesn't slip.. If some are concerned. I will have a video up before the beginning of next week. The only chance I believe there would be an issue slipping is if you shifted too soon making high power at a lower RPM level in a higher gear.

True, I just assumed...I could not be so responsible and would have to built it as such. I guess that is one of the reasons I have not gone crazy with the Legacy and still have my Monte Carlo.
Legacy is a good car to mod even for those who say it is not.. does get pricey but so does modding anything (correctly). Plus not many people take the lgt to the extreme.. very good platform just some minor drawbacks that you will find in modding any car

^how much power are you trying to get out of the gt40?
650ish whp .. will push it until we find the limitation to the car whether its motor, drivetrain, trans, or ecu. Still really thinking I'll be doing a standalone

yes but you have a complete IPT tranny on top of it
True, however I don't see this trans holding what IPT claims. So far I'm doubting this trans.. judgement day Monday (if my map sensor comes in)

Yes.
Only if running the same distance, which you aren't, you're only going a few feet.
Nothing wrong with using OEM ground points.
Oem ground points are fine.. just make sure they are bare metal before putting the larger wire there

I've also never fused the wire from the alt directly to the battery.

Did you replace the OEM wires? Someone above mentioned not replacing but adding to the OEM. Using both?
Only one I keep hooked up is the oem alt wire..
Basically new wire off the output post directly to the battery.. pull the old oem battery ground and reground it with larger wire.. and create a good engine ground.
And the cost listed above 60-100 $$$? Thats insane.. I've bought a 50" spool of 1/0 for $80. You will not need much wire so my guess is under $30 using 4awg.... a quality 4awg at that.

I've done the big 3 on every car I've owned.. normally use 1/0 gauge but I've always wired all my amps using 1/0 to a distro block since normally I run amps for subs/mids/highs.
Currently in my 05 LGT I'm running 3 amps on just an optima and the big 3.. everything is great
