2012 problem started around 58k miles

Any idea how much it cost for my 90k/100k service? Everywhere i read it's $1000+

 

Isn't that the same as any 30K mile service + timing belt?

Is there any shops that does resurfacing rotors? I'm changing my pads to Hawk HPS, and would like to resurface all my rotors to prevent noise in the future.

 

I've just got a quote for resurfacing 4 rotors + install 4 brake pads for $180.

 

 

most local asian mechanic shops don't do rotor resurfacing because of some liability issue??? The shop i got the quote from is JC auto shop where I get alignment from. Please let me know if there's any other cheaper shop that does this job but cheaper!

 

That's a good price IMO. That's like $45 per axle. Resurfacing is about $10 - $15 per rotor.

That's a big job. You might want to talk to Steve over at Suby Specialties in Monrovia if they will do it.

 

Most tuner shops try to avoid that kind of job because it takes too much time and too much headache on their side to do engine swaps.

He's still wrenching and also the in house tuner.

I take my parts to L & J but it's too far from where you are.

i spec it out personally? usually the whole arrangement is more passive: i bring it in, they hand it back to me and say- we had to give it this much neg camber, don't slam it so much...

 

Alignment shops usually will set it back to factory specs.

It will not re-open.

You can take your car to Firestone and give them your alignment specs. For $150 lifetime alignment service, it is worth it if you keep changing your set up.

There is a junk yard in Glendale that has Subaru parts. You could do a search at NASIOC for the name.

Most junkyards in the L.A. area would be in Sun Valley north of Burbank off the 5 FWY.
