Wow Great information here. Thanks to clear up some grey areas on the LGT.

 

08+wrx open rear diff FTL!

IMO the 07 spc b is the best one, or the configurations i would have gotten had it come out in 05. i prefer 05-07 body styling. Pair that with the 6spd and the torsen rear and its the most capable one performance wise.

 

07 FTW+ best seats ever in a stock car!

I have a USDM 07 and i get the noise under hard accell only when the car is cold.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but to race in the Koni GrandAm Challenge, all cars must be outfitted with Koni Sport Shocks. The same shocks that are available to you and me.

 

As of 1/01/2009 States in the rules. think it less prize moeny if a team wins and is not on Koni's. Will Koni devolp a indpened shock for the Legacy and not just the insert.

Okay So I was wondering what kind of coilovers are the ICY/Phoenix Spec.B using in there cars. I know there was a thread with a ton of info on the setup and the GOTO Racing car but i cant seem to find it at all it was like a wrx vs legacy rear suspension comparison.

I saw you as I was turning onto Jericho from the Cross Island. Tried catching up to you from there until you turned off about a 1/2 mile after the Commerce Bank in Floral Park, maybe around Lakeville Rd/ S 9th Street.

I kept getting stuck behind slow people. I was in the DGM Spec B with blue tinted headlights and smoked tails.

hahahah yeah i would be the same. that is such an awesome car.. i could definitely see a lot of potential, especially aftermarket-wise with that car. since it also shares so many components with the uk focus st, it shouldn't be too hard either, just pricey.

 

the way it handles is nice too, very planted, point-and-go darty steering, torque comes in just right, and the way it looks, you dont have to change a thing on the body..

i used the stock 2004 sti 6-sp linkage. it does not hit the acc door when shifting at all, it ends up about 1/2" away in 3rd or 5th.
