  1. ARGH!!!

so here's the deal. first i tried grounding the ipod pac cable to the stereo case. worked for a while, then stopped working. then i tried splicing it to one of the ground wires. started to work, but then fail again. i THEN tried to ground it to one of the bolts near my shifter. this seemed to be the perfect solution for about a month, but when i got into my car today, it doesnt charge.

    ...anyone?

  2. yes that's the right one... u just plug in the ribbon cable in the only logical way that it fits (from looking at your picture, you would turn the aux board clockwise 90 degrees and plug in ur cable)

one thing i've noticed about the ipod cable is that it doesn't auto pause when it no longer detects power... my other ipod cable did that and i was a little disappointed that this one doesn't... oh well. it's just a minor inconvenience.

  3. just wanted to say hello to everyone

i go to emory and i see a few LGTs around that area. just outta curiosity anyone on here with the white LGT that parks in fishburne parking?

oh. and anyone have any recommendations for body shops that do really good work?

  4. i have a question regarding maintenance of the interior:

i had the steering wheel replaced on my LGT, and i was just curious to see if anyone knows how to keep the leather from fading/tearing/wearing down? the steering wheel before had visible leather fade and wear from sweat and oils.

is the entire steering wheel made of leather? it feels like only the middle inner part is made out of leather and the outer part is of some other material. anyone have any idea?

  5. djkxgo0k: I also have that little sub under my seat and it definitely makes it harder. I was able to see under the seat with a flashlight and could have probably gotten to the connection, but I wanted to be 100% sure that I was disconnecting the right set of wires. So I removed the seat. Makes it much easier. 14mm socket wrench will get it done.

u removed the entire seat? wow..

i managed to disable my chime after moving my seat all the way forward, up, and the top tilted all the way forward as well. and i had to remove the sub, the disconnecting part wasn't difficult, it was rescrewing the damn bolt back in after the d/c.
