^^^ actually the fan issue was 8 mos., my ECM was on order for 1.5 mos., just got it done on Thurs.! Oh BIG IMPOTENT NOTE... don't forget to bring in your spare key with the CODE!!! They made no mention of it in the letter or there at the $tealer, so I got to drive the 36 mile round trip to go grab'em from home in an *underpowered* H3 (baby Hummer/5 cyl.) that gave my kidneys a beating worthy of Tommy "The Hitman" Hearns, not to mention the temp gauge running up on the Nehwall Pass. <pfffffffft> I digress...

There's L&J right across from Yimi's up here in the SCV too by the way... They do all the painting for RBS bits. Aside: I want the '67 RHD Mini they have in there, maybe squeze a boxer in there...? <evil grin> <--- finally not winking anymore, & RBS grille!

NEWSFLASH: Big Valley of Van Nuys sold their Subie franchise to Casa (i.e. Hummer/Cadi) & they're now Subaru of Sherman Oaks (SoSO?) If you have a warranty item or just need a dealer visit, check them out. In particular, ask for Daryl the head tech to work on your car. ECU is on order May have to swing by Yimi's Fri. if you'll be there Paul...?? <edit> BTW, they'll be having a car chow & bbq soon, maybe have a factory rally car, etc...

Just wanna give a shout out to my peeps @ Yimisport, Paul Yim, & that other guy..??? Oh yeah, Paul Lung! You guys rock! I now have a car that runs as God himself intended, w/ a new ACT kit, the secret sauce recipe for the tranny/diff fluids, no more crunching, or hard shifts <thunk>, xtra smooth engagement w/ great pedal effort. And to boot, a "while you're in there" mod of the Megan Racing down pipe, the car feels <Tony> Ggggrrrrrreat! Ooh I almost forgot to mention, I dig the supercharger hiss between shifts from the air intake resonator removal dealio too! It's almost like a psedo BOV! Woot! Thanks again for everything guys, the 2nd honeymoon is now officially underway, as evidenced by the sheat eatin' grin on my face since I got it back yesterday.

I'll be up there tomorow by ~10. Oh btw, give Yim a hard time about that paint ball holder he keeps on the table, standing on end...

Wow, if that guy drove here from Upland to see a DP install, that's hardcore! I used to drive from here 52 mi. to Glendora for work. :/ BTW, I am no wrench-monkey, but for 'shadetree' installs a dp is a 4 vs. a clucth like an 8 on the 10 scale (awd 9?)
